Bra fitting help » 2nd Comexim, too small, now what do I do??
Comexim » Pioson Ivy Plunge Bra (353) » 60HH 28:9
Issue resolved
Too small, gotta keep trying on other styles.
Original problem
Too small... obviously. Pardon my crappy lighting.
Edit: Seller doesn't know if it's altered at all, she wasn't the original owner.
I tried a 60HH after my disaster of a 60K, which you can find here: http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dlub6/
So far, I still think Comexim is my answer for padded/molded-ish cups, but don't know where to go next with my size. 60J is theoretically the next step, but the 60K cups were at least a full inch if not 2" too tall for me and the wires were 1" too wide. So it's hard to tell if I got a 60K that was made in a hurry late on a Friday and it was not an accurate representation of what their 60K's are usually like, or what. This seems to be a very big difference between cups that are only 2 sizes apart.
I don't know if I need a 60J, a 60J with reduced cups, a 60K with reduced cups, or if my previous 60K was a mutant. I'm totally lost.

helpfulIt's really odd that this one is so small. The 60K was all kinds of huge and I definitely don't feel like one cup down would have been enough. At first I thought this one might have reduced cups but looking at pictures of other 60HHs, it looks like the upper portion is more or less in line with what I assume to be standard height.
If this one runs true to size for Comexim, I'd say to try 60J/65HH and reduced cups might not be necessary. BUT if Juliette is more true, then I would definitely suggest reduced cups.
I wish I knew more about these models to know which one to go by. All I can gather from reviews is that Juliette runs tall, but that can be said for most Comexim plunges for a ton of people, so it may or may not be very helpful.I can tell you about how I've heard some others run in case you come across another to try.
I believe the Basic is said to run a little small, the Irish Coffee is also a little small/more closed on top (and I think geisha as well? less sure on that one) and I want to say Ginger is cut differently in general - lower gore/lower cups/more shallow(?). I think it's meant to be more of a true plunge than the rest. But again, that's all from what I've read, as I haven't tried any of them and the ones I have tried were all during a lot of size fluctuations so it's hard for me to compare.Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Hopefully someone who knows more will chime in but unfortunately you'll probably be in for more trial and error.

helpfulI don't know the sizing for Comexim so I could be totally off base but looking at the measurements it doesn't look like the cup would be bigger than a 28FF, or 28F in another brand. It is a beautiful bra though

Right?? I mean there's at least a 3 cup difference in these two bras. Ugh. I took one look at it when I got it and was like "oh noes, that looks tiny..." :-(
I wish I knew which was more TTS for Comexim as well. I feel like this one is a bit small for what I'd think a 60HH should be, which made me suspect the cups are reduced, especially since the gore is 2.5" and I think that is the Comexim reduced-gore height? That said, this Poison Ivy is more in line with other 60HH measurements than the 60K Juliette is with other 60K measurements. I'm leaning towards believing the Juliette was mislabeled, made in a hurry, or a model that simply runs big.
60J with standard cups does sound logical. In the meantime, Kerniss is sending me her Irish Coffee that is a 60K with reduced cups, and the depth measures almost 2" smaller than the Juliette did. So hopefully that gets me a little closer to an answer. It's good to know that model might run a little smaller than others.
I will most certainly be ordering this Poison Ivy in my proper size, once I get it figured out, because it is a very stunning, unique bra and hunter green has always been a fabulous color with my warm skin and dark hair. I just hope I can manage to get my proper size figured out via swaps because I'm scared to try to return anything to Poland lol.
