Bra fitting help » Not sure if wires are too short/tall or just too wide.
Curvy Kate » Bardot Balcony Bra (SG3101) » 34GG 34:10
So far this has my best fit overall. (Cup's not super tall! Woot!) The wires are too wide, but I can bend or transplant those. I just want to make sure the height is OK.

helpfulWell the issue with making wide wires narrower is that the overall cup depth is still the same. So if you bring 2" of that depth to the front instead of wrapping it round your sides like it is right now, you will have cups that are way too big (too deep) for you. Does that make any sense?

helpfulLooks to me like you could go down a cup or two in this bra. If you look at your laying measurement, that is the natural compression of your breast tissue, which is often just about the right depth for your cups. I know personally in CK that a smaller cup equals a narrower cup. http://www.bratabase.com/browse/curvy-kate/bardot-balcony-bra-sg3101/34G/
Same bra in the next cup size down. If you look at the depth of the cup, and the width of the wires, I think you'll find a good size match in a G rather then the GG.Updated on May 26, 2016 Flag this

helpfulWhat row of hooks do you have it on? If you have it on the middle row, you can put the top hook on the loosest row. That keeps the wires from being pulled too wide. If all the hooks are on the loosest row already, you might want to try an extender.
