Fabric issue and rib flares!
Original problem
So far I THOUGHT this was my best-fitting bra until I took these photos... what is up with the wrinkling on the cups? And is there any way to keep the band under the cups above my flared ribs from flipping up or is that just how it has to be because of the shape of my ribs?

helpfulIt looks like a great fit. I think Cleo materials are sometimes a bit lower quality, that wrinkling is really probably just the way it is. And the band flipping- i have a lot that do that. I am trying to focus on bras that have smooth bands with little to no decoration because even worse, sometimes they flip UNDER and if they have any sort of lace or scalloped edge, they really hurt.

helpfulCan you just put your hand inside of the cups and pull that fabric flat/smooth? I have that exact same bra in the same colorway (see here: 32HH - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351)), and it takes me a minute to get my boobs all settled in there correctly. I usually have to pull the fabric taught after scooping/swooping. Maybe try that?
Mine flips up on the bottom as well. If it causes you pain, you can always sew it over (or under, depending on your preference). A lot of my bras do that, and I think it's just due to my ribs/tummy making it flip. I don't really worry about it since it doesn't cause any pain. If it does cause you discomfort and sewing it down doesn't help, then you might do better with a different bra.
Edit: There's a tutorial on how to sew that band portion to keep it stable here (it's towards the middle of the page): http://brasihate.blogspot.ca/2012/03/adventures-in-showgirl-curvy-kates.html

Yeah, it definitely smooths out a bit once I pull the fabric taught. Thankfully, the band flipping up doesn't really cause me pain - it only hurts when it flips under. I'm definitely going to give that tutorial a shot; thanks for sharing! :)

Oh, thanks for that tip - I'm no seamstress but I could do that ! However I'm still thinking I should get rid of my worst offender - it runs so small I still need an extender 4 months later, and it gives me a squared-off shape. So I probably wont bother. Idk.

Yeah, it is annoying! Thankfully I don't usually get an underflip. :P And thanks, that makes me feel a bit better. The material does feel kind of flimsy and I did think it was a possibility that the material was at fault rather than the fit.
