Bra fitting help » Should I size down or stay with the cup+wide wires??
Comexim » Joy Half Cup Longline (379) » 65H 30:8
Issue resolved
Wires are wide for me, but won't harm anything in my size.
Going down a cup would likely cause quadding.
Hanging onto this then
Original problem
Wide wires are my biggest problem.
Initially, I thought the cups were too big, but in reality, they're just too wide. The cup depth is a good 8 inches on bottom and 8.5 on top.
I think I know now that most of Comexims bras will be just slightly FoT,so I should get reduced cups in some of them. This one however, I just don't know what to do with.
I tightened the straps so that they're not loose, and the cups no longer gap.My biggest problem is the cup width.
Should I bother trying to re-order in a 65G?
As far as I've seen, there's one measurement for almost 5" cup width, which would work great.
And if the cups are 7.5" on bottom and 8" on top, I think I mayyyy be able to make do.So my options here are: good depth/wide wires, not enough depth/good wires.
As far as I can tell. The measurement for 65G has it at 8.5" depth, so if that's true in all of them, that would be perfect.
I don't know what to do. Size down or stay with the cup?
I'm determind to have this bra, but I would like the closest fit I can get.
I guess I already know this isn't for narrow ladies. :/

helpfulHmmm.. I wonder if you'd be able to request narrower cups? It looks like it fits well aside from the width. If you would size down in the cup, I think it might be too small.

helpfulWhat problems are being caused by the wide wires? It doesn't always mean you can't wear a bra.

wendybien None, as of yet. I was unsure if wide wires on narrow boobs meant less support?
Though, I'm not going to be wearing it every day so I guess even so, it wouldn't be a big deal.

helpfulI don't think wide wires in our size range are necessarily a problem if they aren't causing pain or discomfort.
You were able to fix the gaping and the band isn't too big, I think this is fine if it's comfortable. If you size down I bet you'd lose too much depth.Updated on June 25, 2015 Flag this

That's what I'm most worried about :( You bring up a good idea though! I'll try emailing them and ask if narrower cups are possible. That would definitely help
