Bra fitting help » Cups too small. +1 or +2?
Masquerade » Antoinette Bandeau Bra (7151) » 30F 30:7
Issue resolved
Gonna try a size 30FF and see if it helps
Original problem
The cups are too small, especially at the top seam with the satin trim which is too tight, and they actually chafe after a few minutes.
The gore fits nicely, the band is firm and comfy, and the straps are (just barely) not too far apart. So do I go with a 30FF or a 30G?

I don't mind the shape, but I'm still unsure about the cup size. I got the Antoinette basque in a 30F, and it is definitely 1 size too small, but it isn't so bad AND it doesn't irritate my skin at that seam. Maybe just a difference in the band tension? (as in, distribution of tension across an 8 cm band versus a full-length corset)
Also, the wires are pretty narrow for me. My breast root tail points back toward my shoulder blades more and extends past the halfway point under my arm. Again, not a problem in the basque, but that is almost certainly due to the difference in the bands, and will almost certainly be helped (if not fixed) by sizing up cups.
