Bra fitting help » Orange in a glass—underwire seems low

Issue resolved
This just is not the bra for me, it seems! Until I can find a few that really work, though, everyone's assistance is so appreciated.
Original problem
Okay. I have tried this in 30F and 30FF today; both give orange in a glass syndrome, though it's worse in the 30F (pictures: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlvhe/). Obviously using a tighter hook will not help here!
Also weirdly, the very top of the center gore seems to float away from my sternum, just a tiny bit; I also kind of wish the underwire sat higher on my ribcage.
(BTW, I'm not standing funny—I have scoliosis that has given me a high hip as well as a twisted ribcage. Thank you for understanding—believe me, I hate it too!)
Does anyone have a size suggestion, or is the Starlet simply not for me? I'm full on the bottom, with what seems to be a pretty wide root and shallow breasts to boot. I don't mind trying 28 bands at all and rather prefer them; might a 28FF work better?
Any help would be appreciated. Oh, how I wish there were a shop within two hundred miles that would let me try on as many sizes as necessary...!
EDIT: I think you all are right about this just not being a good fit in any way! Thank you for your help.

helpfulI have the Starlet in the colour Petrol. It did it on me too (did because I don't wear it anymore). I got it when it first came out and there were no reviews but I see in reviews now that it seems to do that to everyone. After a few washes, the outer edge on one cup rolled out to. It wasn't a winner. My advice is to forget about that one and move on. Sorry.

I do think you are right. How strange!

helpfulI have the starlet too. It is a quite narrow and deep bra, which is not good for your wide boobs. I also think you should forget about the starlet (I know.. it's so pretty, isn't it?) and move on to... may be... cleo juna, maddie or freya deco 30f?

Deco and I get along pretty well—my 28DD is fabulous though there's some quadding. Il'l look into the Juna & Maddie, having heard good things about them. Thank you!

helpfulI think that the empty bottom of the cup usually means its too shallow for you. So I dont think this bra will fit you. But it looks like it might cut in a little too much at the top too?

helpfulI have pretty much the exact same fit issues in a Smoothie I own (floating gore top despite it being more or less the right height, the bottom of my breast tissue buckling the padding like in your photos). I had my eye on this colourway of the Starlet when it came out (it's so cute!) but when I found out about it fitting similarly to the Smoothie I decided not to buy it. I don't know if this is the case, but it looks a bit too wide for you as well, if I visually extrapolate from where your tissue is causing a buckle in the cup.
Unfortunately I have to third the other fit suggestions and say that I don't think the Starlet is a good fit on you - I don't think you'll have any luck in a different size.

Thank you, it seems we are all coming to agreement on this one! It is too bad, because it's such a pretty colourway (aqua! berry! oooo!). Back to the drawing board! I really do hope there's a Curvy Kate that will work for me—I've heard so much about them.

Yeah, this may work for somebody without much fullness on the bottom, but otherwise it seems so sad!
