Bra fitting help » Wires too narrow
Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) » 30G 30:9
Issue resolved
This bra is too tall and too shallow for me. Shorter wires and deeper cups fit me better
Original problem
Hi!
I am searching fot a bra with deep cups and wide wires. Here is 30G, Panache Andorra, the cups are deep enough, the strechy lace on top is great and the straps are not too wide. The band is too small though and the wires do not encapsulate all my breast tissue. I also tried 32G - Panache » Jasmine and it was not a good fit! A lot of people recommended it, but the cups were a little bit too deep and the wires too high and too narrow for me.I am trying to find a bra with quite deep cups and wide underwires that are not super high in the underarm.
All I am looking for is comfort! Thanks

helpfulFirst of all, I disagree - andorra and jasmine ARE deep, at least in larger cup sizes. and i have to say, it LOOKS like your breast tissue is inside the wire. I know i cant see your boob, but are you sure its breast tissue? and it cant be pulled inside the wires?
Definitely too tall for you, tho.
also, there are 3 perimeters, some ppl do better comparing different perimeters. For me, my laying perimeter is the closest to matching bra volumes

OH: I tried the Sophisticated Pair bra size calculator and it suggests 32H...

Sorry I wasnt clear, looks too tall in the arm pits. and if its not comfortable, its the wrong bra!

I do agree the wire looks wide enough though. It could be too tall in the armpit, which feels like poking your TOS, which doesn't really belong in a bra but could be uncomfortable nonetheless. I think it's more of a wire height problem instead of a wire width problem. I don't see breast tissue outside the wires, and if the wires were too narrow you'd see marks left on your breast when you take it off at the end of the day. And most likely it would be so uncomfortable you couldn't make it the full day anyways. I double suggest searching by measurements to find something with a similar width and depth but shorter underwire length.

I have a similar problem and I'm noticing lower wires in Lejaby bras. Generally, they have good projection, also. I'll post reviews of two Lejaby bras soon.
Often, I bend the wires under my arms away from my body: that increases my comfort and reduces the wire poke sensation.

charlielheureux I often have to readjust like you say, its more because I'm extremely projected so bras push me to the sides though. Perhaps try a more projected bra? Also, I find having more tight bands and sturdy underwires helps prevent the readjustment. My least adjusted bras are EMs with stretched band measurements the exact size of my ribcage.

helpfulFor what I know, Andorra and Jasmine are neither considered very deep.
So if this is enough for you depth-wise, there should be many options for you!
For example I'd recommend Curvy Kate - generally much lower wires than Panache Andorra or Jasmine, mostly wider and also less rigid wires (which for many ladies means better comfort) 😊Have you tried searching by measurements? For most people their laying breast perimeter more or less matches the required cup depth. So adding those measurements for yourself and then doing a search, may help!

Thanks fot the tip! I took my measurments again and here are the results:
Comfortable ribcage 79.0
Loose ribcage 81
Tight ribcage 72
Horizontal perimeter 33
Vertical perimeter 31.
Laying perimeter 32.0
Nip 2 Neck 27.0
Breast base 20.0
Frame width 23.0I usually wear 32G, and in the 'browse by measurments' section, 32G cups have depths from 24 cm to 30.5 cm... so I might not be wearing the right size with my 32cm laying perimeter...
But i'll give a tru to Curvy Kate.

If you are looking for Curvy Kate with a stretch top, try the Curvy Kate Ellace (CK4401). The wires are slightly wider than your Andorra but are flexible to stretch back a bit too. It has lots of projection and lots of room but lower gore and sides. The Curvy Kate Florence Balcony Bra (CK8001) is a similar cut and feel but does not have a stretch top.

I am lost! I don't know it is migrated bresat tissue ou just fat, but I feel like I have to reajust the bra and re-scoop during the day. What ever 'this' is, the wire cuts into something! maybe I am just oversensitive? I don't know!
For this bra being tall, i don't see it as a problem, I am so scared of quadbood that I enjoy the lace on top.
My laying perimeter is 32cm. I usually wear 32G and for that size, bra depths go up to 30.5 cm only.
I will try to recalculate my size!
Thanks for your comment :)
