Bra fitting help » Band cuts into sides and wire digs into ribs

Issue resolved
This bra does fit, but I might want to wear an extender for a little while to stretch the band to a more comfortable size.
Original problem
This is an example of the problem I am having with my bras. I feel like the band fits well and is supportive, but it cuts into my sides in a way that makes it looks like it is too tight. I'm tired of the little bulges and would like smoothness! I also do feel like the bottom part of the cup's underwire, on the outside-bottom "corner", if you will, digs into my ribs a little bit.

helpfulHave you tried an extender? I have the same tight measurement as you (suggesting similar ribcage size) and slightly smaller comfortable and loose numbers, and usually cannot wear 30s without an extender. Even if the 32 is a bit loose, on a brand new 30 band I will need to use the extender for about a month (if it's a super favorite taht I wear every other day) or 2-3 months if it's worn less often.

Post a photo if you want to see whether others agree it is a problem. It might not be. Some degree of poofiness is normal on many people :-)
Yes, I have tried an extender! It definitely does make the bra feel a bit better, but I still get those same little poofs of flesh (or bone? rib flares? idk) where the bra digs into my sides.
