Bra fitting help » Cleo experts! Why pointy shape?
Cleo » Kira Balconnet Bra (7781) » 32HH 32:12
Issue resolved
Will probably sell bra
Original problem
Not technically a fit request -- THIS BRA FITS ME. My issue is that the shape from the side is not ideal for my tastes; it's a bit more pointy than I'd like.
My other Cleo bras do not have this issue:
32HH - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)
32HH - Cleo » Alexa (6631)
32HH - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351)You can see they are all the same size and give me a rounded shape without the 'point' of this Kira. The shape doesn't seem to be very pointy in my angle picture, so be sure to look specifically at my side picture. It might not seem like a big deal, but none of my other bras have any sort of point whatsoever, so it looks odd to me (my bra-->my preference, right?)
Kira is supposedly based on the Marcie cut, yet the shape I get in Kira is different than in Marcie. I really want it to work because I LOVE the fabric of this bra (it's so soft!) and the colors are super fun.
Does anyone know why I get such a different shape than my other Cleos? Is it just because of the fabric? Is it incompatible with my shape? Will it 'round out' after being worn and washed some? Will all Cleos with this top mesh lace panel give the same shape? I can't decide if I should remove the tags and wear it or list it for sale. Halp!
TL;DR version: I am not asking for fit advice. Just let me know if you've ever had a Kira or similar model with a slightly pointy shape that rounded out over time with wear/washing. I'm just checking to see if breaking it in will help. If not, that's fine too.

helpfulIt looks like it's pointy because there isn't enough stretch in the upper part, so it's pushing down on your tissue. I honestly don't think that'll go away with wash/wear, but I could be wrong. I generally avoid Cleo because the 2 hooks in every size drive me crazy. Have you seen Hettie for AW15? That one has stretch lace, and will likely be more accommodating for your top tissue.
