Bra fitting help » Major quadding on the left boob
Pour Moi » Ditsy Plunge Underwired Bra (8802) » 38G 38:9
Issue resolved
Not enough center projection / cup too closed off for me. Either giving it away or using it as a sleeping bra
Original problem
It's super comfy and I love the width. I'm not sure if it's actually too small; I fill it out quite nicely. Is it just that the top is too closed off? Is there not enough inner projection? Is it too small? Do the shapes I have listed seem accurate?
(The picture taken from the really weird angle is from the underside of my boob looking up. I felt like that was the best picture to capture the problem I'm having.)

helpfulLooks like it lacks depth near the gore, it doesn't allow enough room for your center fullness.

helpfulYeah the embroidered cup edge seems too rigid for you. If it was elasticated (stretch lace or so) you could get away with this size, but now it clearly cuts into your larger breast.
Also it seems to me (but maybe I'm projecting my own bra issues) that the outer cups are really far into your armpits? Like the cups are too tall in that area. I know for myself it would mean major discomfort. But you say you love the width, so clearly this doesn't go for everybody - Or do you mainly mean the wire width? Because the width of the wires and how tall the wire actually goes under your armpit, are also separate things.
Objectively I would advise you to try slightly deeper cups that are less tall. Maybe Freya unlined plunges? And some stretch lace would probably help for the quadding. But go with what feels good of course!

I'm totally with you in the too-far-apart-straps problem. Literally almost every bra I've ever had commits that crime :(
Weird, because I never identified as being narrow shouldered at all.
Too bad If it has to go, because the design is super cute and looks good on your light skintone! If it's comfy you could still secretly wear it ;)
The wires don't go too far up, but the fabric does, you're right. I have a problem in general with straps being too far apart which sort of makes the fabric come up really far under my arms.
I read the other review on this bra and it seems like you'd have to be super shallow in the center for this bra to work, which I'm not.
Oh well! Give away pile it is, I guess! :)
