Bra fitting help » underwire tightness, underwire tight in the middle
Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) » 30E 30:6
Issue resolved
I've bought a new size: 32DD, though now there is gapping at the top of the cup when I sit comfortably with my normal posture (as opposed to shoulders back, chest forward).
Original problem
The bra is gorgeous, but the underwires feel like they're going to dig into my ribs all day. Maybe the band is too tight. Also, the wires in the gore makes my skin fold over the top of the gore.

helpfulWell, the band is too tight. Try it in a 32DD. Otherwise it looks like a good fit.

helpfulI agree with the too tight band. For reference, I have this bra in a 30F and I measure 29.5 tight.

helpfulYou could always try wearing w an extender to see if thats better - some bras will stretch out in a month, others not so much.
also, I cant see your skin folding over the gore very clearly in the picture but it does look like the skin sort of comes back out above the gore. For some people the gore can end up scraping at the skin above it, which is painful and bad, but in others, its just not a problem. I prefer taller gores, so my skin stays put, but it also might be that the gore is a bit too wide for you?

helpfulThe gore may be too tall and wide for you, it doesn't seem to get better in other sizes.

ETA: since this is a real bra as opposed to bikini top, you can actually add an extender to assess how it would work in a larger band size. If the cups fit well and everything is comfortable with an extender on, then you know you can just sister size up.
