Issue resolved
Shape is wrong for me, but in the future I could try a gel insert.
Original problem
Hi everyone!
A recent change in size has made some of my bras fit strangely. I had a small weight change which seems to have exaggerated the asymmetry in my breasts. This bra which previously fit very evenly (the second pic is old) now has some very strange problems.
The top gapes more on my smaller side--about a finger width of extra space all the way across the top, while the top of the cup on the larger side actually lays flat now.
It still gives my smaller side that rounded shape, with a bit of wrinkle, but on my larger side it flattens a bit and gives sort of the "upside down 7" shape, I think.
It's almost like one side needs a size up and one side needs a size down!
I tried on all my Cleo bras and they all seem to do this now. Are they just not for me anymore? or is there anything I can do to fix this? I've thought about going up a size and using an insert on the smaller side, but that kind of kills the look of the unlined bra, and I'm sure it would gape on my larger side.
If more pics or explanation is needed please let me know.

helpfulI really cant tell, did you gain or lose weight? I could be wrong, but it looks to me like your breasts became more FOB? Often when they grow or shrink the shape changes to the point where the same brand doesnt work any more. I was actually thinking about posting about that, but i havent

Well to answer that question I would say your breasts are definitely FOB. The lace gap could be just that Marcie has roomy lace and gets along better with FOT shapes. Do you have a Lucy? Does it gap?

I think before the lower portion of your boob was stretching out the cup below the seam, and marcie's seam there is very problematic, so it was puckering above it. Now that you are smaller, its not stretched out as much, so it behaves better. Just my theory. I have weird fit with my marcie. Sometimes massive in-cup quadding at that seam, but never any quadding at the top no matter how much I grow.

Honestly judging from pic #1 I think this bra doesn't have enough room at the wire, either. It's wrinkling pretty heavy under your IMF. Especially on your left side. And the wires look a bit wide, too. What about a Cleo Lily/Erin or maybe Hettie? Panache Jasmine?

lcl0706 I had a Lucy previously and it did gap a bit (almost everything does bc I am SO short-rooted). And pretty much everything except polish sits below my IMF and is very wide, including my Lily and Jasmine.

helpfulA small gel insert on the gaping side might help. You can get clear inserts and maybe putting it at the bottom will help with gaping at the top?

That's a good idea, thank you! I'd forgotten there were gel inserts and not just fabric ones.

I lost but only ~6 pounds (i am sheepish about posting that i lost weight because people tend to congratulate but it was not intentional, it was due to health problems).
It's possible but then I'm confused by the fact that the top lies totally flat on my larger breast where it didn't before. But I had never even been sure whether my breasts were FOB or FOT in the first place.
