Curvy Kate » Ritzy Padded Balcony Bra (SG2101) » 30J 30:13
My underbust is 80 centimeters (31.50 inches) and my bust = 110 centimeters "pressed" (43 inches). My finished measurements are at its disposal, can see them!!!
With these measurements, any said to me that my size bra is 30J/32HH, especially, in Curvy Kate whose cups are smaller.
But, the Curvy Kate Ritzy's bra is very small in the band and big in the cup.
I don't know what to do now! Simply... did I calculate badly or I have a strange breast shape?
My breast shape isn't round. Above, not full; the bosoms are born together but, separate as if some meal had interior half of the bosom; they fall down to the exterior sides; they me are born about 5 rib and I am small.
Can it be that it has some of these things and, for this reason, couldn't refill the part of above of the bra?
*Reduce proyection
*Small proyection
*Conical or thin...
*Are high ?
I repeat: My problem is that the bra adapts itself to the low part of my breasts but I don't refill the top part for 2 inches of cloth. Also, the band is very small!!!! I need 4 more inches. Do I ask for 34H? Will 34H cover the low part like 30J?Pardon for my bad English! I hoped that the essential thing should be comprised!

helpfulIf the band only stretches to 26.8 inches, its a very, very tight 30. But it shows your comfortable measurement is 31.5 inches, so you could try a 32. But I think this is an unusually tight band.
Also, the cups are too big. In general, the cup depth number should be about the same as the breast perimeter measurements, but this bra is a half-cup. For comparison, a Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) 30J cup has a 13.9 inch depth - MUCH too big. A Cleo Marcie 30G has an 11 inch depth. and the band stretches to 30 inches on average. A Marcie in 32FF has a band that stretches to 31.7, and a cup depth of 10.8. Now, some colors of marcie are more stretchy than others. But I think you are closer to a 32FF than a 30 J.
I wonder if the person who said "30J" meant in US sizing instead of UK sizing?

It is hard to know exactly just from seeing one bra that really does not fit you. Maybe you could add some pictures of other bras you have that dont fit so we can see?

dbmamaz ok, I will photograph other bras. But, there are bras that they don't inform about its cups, only perimeter bust-underbust

In this album, there are two bras, bigger that I have obtained here, in Argentina (yes, I have started measuring the cup depth of every bra in the shops :p ) but whose cup is very small for me and band to loose.
Both bras have: cup depth=22cm. - cup width=16cm. but, they change in height. The brown bra is a half cup bra (to see the foto in the album where they are compared).*The "animal print" bra is a bra of unknown brand in whose tag was appearing "120/52" as measurement. Here, sold me like "120" (I have already said that, in my country, we don't obtain bras for band/cup but for bust perimeter). I had to sew the band (as one sees in the photos) so that I could hold well.
As for the cup, if I accommodate it as it must be so that it continues the outline of my roots, my nipple stays to the overdraft and I cannot already accommodate another cup. If I accommodate the cups so that they cover as well as possible, the wire is uncomfortable in the sides and the center gore doesn't stick to the breastbone (I can put 4 fingers there as I show in the album).*The brown bra is Perlea, supposedly, "36D". The bra adapts itself more that the previous because it's done of cloth and the cloth has stretched with the time. It has the same problems in general, the center gore adapts itself a little better but, the nipples are seen in any position :(
I don't know if serve to you this information, new measurements, photos and what I express here to have to give me a better advice.

Mm, you look bigger in the facebook pictures. Idk, just look more like a G cup there. But NOT a J cup. Look at some of my bras - I'm a J.
You should not be wearing any 36 tho!
It just takes some time and it can be frustrating, but keep trying!

dbmamaz Thanks for your time! Thanks for the advices! I will try with G/GG cup and, then, I will mention how it me was

helpfulI think 30J might be a bit of an overestimate. It's more than fine to round down the band measurement for extra snugness but then you may end up with a cup that is too projected to get the same volume. I get 32H/HH based on measurements alone but suspect more around a 32GG. Probably a 34G in this style if the 30 only stretches to 27 inches.

Caboodle I also think equally now, 32GG/34G. I am hoping that the sellers should help me to estimate my measurements. I have just sent the mail

helpfulI don't find the sizing methods on here helpful, I prefer the 5 measurements of www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits, it might help you. I would guesstimate you to be a 30G or so, this bra has all its volume much higher than you need and wider than you need. A good starting point would be to work out how much too wide the wires are for you, you don't want them so narrow as to sit on breast tissue, then you can be up to half an inch or so too wide, that will give you a suitable range.
And no to 36 bands!! I used to be in a 36B, was correctly fitted into a 30F and it was like another planet!

joanna1970 Thanks for the recommendations, I shop a bra Ewa Michalak in size 32GG. It me fits well, in general. You can look in my profile. I have done a "fitting help" also so that they say its opinions to me.

helpfulI had this problem with the ritzy, too, in a 28J. I actually had 3 fingerprint size bruises on each side of my ribcage from the underwires. I measure 28, but the 28 band is actually much smaller, the 30 too large. The wires were poking my armpits and there was gaping on my smaller boob. I purchased it off of bratabase and am exchanging for a 30HH and will hopefully just be able to take in the band. I made my own bra band extender and wore with this bra and the Tease me in the same size. After one day the tease me stretched itself and now fits perfect and no more bruising and I no long need the extender- the ritzy, the ritzy connector hooks started falling out because the item I received was already obv iously a return and wasn't holding up.
That being said,
Did you swoop and scoop when putting the bra on. I'd try it with a band extender- if you dont have one you can make on really easily by cutting up an old bra (I used a way outsized VS strapless bra since it had 3 hooks). Put the extender on the middle hooks on the bra and on the exter. Wear for a day-3 days (remember to swoop and scoop to know find out if the cup size is right. The band should stretch a bit and cups should mold. Also, if the wires are to wide try bending them to the shape of your breasts. (forgot to mention I did that too.) Hope this helps.Updated on July 12, 2016 Flag this
Hello dbmamaz ! Thanks for your answer!
It is probable... But, I am from Argentina! Here, the bra'sizes still represent the bust perimeter; for example: I am 110... But, generally, band is slack and cup very small! Still, i am confused with its way of measuring and am looking for my syze.
I have asked for Curvy Kate Ritzy in Amazon. I don't know the return politics, if they will allow me to ask for another brand/model or only to change the size. If I go again for the CK Ritzy, then, I will ask for band of 34.
But, do you think that FF cup will be well? Will not it be too small? Bust-Underbust=12/13in. The perimeter of my bust is 11in.
Although, my biggest doubt is that never... never, I have had a bra that was putting on so well in the low and whose cables were comfortable, to the sides, quite.... Only that did not fill the cup. If I ask in another measurement... Will I obtain this adjustments?
