Issue resolved
Not the correct shape for my breasts
Original problem
This is my first soft cup bra. It is a 30 DD. It is too big at the top of the bra there's a lot of space. When I scoop and scoop there is some wrinkling at the bottom. Based off of this can you tell me what bras will fit me?

helpfulMaybe Cleo Lucy? If you have massive gapping at the top Lucy would be better as it doesn have nearly as much space at the top parts of the cups. Also, I think that the loose fabric at the bottom is caused by it not being projected enough at the bottom parts of the cups. The Lucy has more projection in that area.
I looked at some of your other bra reviews in conjunction with this one and I think that you'd do well to find more projected and narrow wired bras. You seem to have a very projected and narrow rooted shape. Freya Siren/Ooh La La/Arabella, and maybe the Freya Icon Moulded Plunge are worth a try. Maybe look at Comexim and Avocado too?

In your size range the Freya Patsy unpadded might work, it fits the description Saskia gives above (narrow and projected).
-
Which size should I look for in the Freya patsy? I have that bra in my cart on some web site, but I think it's 30DD or 28E
-
I would go with 28E because Freya runs loose-ish, especially after a few wears. If it is tight at first you can use an extender.

helpfulI went and looked at all the bras you've posted so far to see how things fit you. I'm thinking that many of your bras were too closed on top and too wide-set for your shape - but this bra is open on top and closer set, and projected enough - and I honestly think you should try it in a D. I mean, different bras are sized somewhat differently, but also sometimes if its the right shape you dont need all the 'extra' space you needed in bras where parts of the cup were off to the side or below your breasts, where you dont need a bra to be. does that make sense?
I'm not super familiar with bras in your size range, though.

helpfulFirst, you definitely need to go down at least one cup size. I think it's pretty common to need to do so for projected people going from molded to soft cups.
Have you confirmed whether you're FOT, even, or FOB? The Izzy is supposed to be a Marcie clone, so better for FOT (Lucy is best for FOB, and the Lily cut (there are still some out there) is best for even fullness).
Seconded on Freya, with the caveat that the shape is often pointier than Cleo. That may not be as much of problem in your size range, though. As for Comexim, if they could get their own sizing straightened out....

I prefer a bra that gives a rounded look as opposed to pointed. I honestly have no idea whether I'm FOT or FOB. I was thinking I was FOT before I tried this bra on because every bra gave me cleavage. Otherwise I think I'm even
-
Check the reviews here to find the shape and fit of specific Freya models. It is a very variable brand.
Here's how you tell FOT vs. FOB (don't laugh!). It does make a difference as to which cups fit you best.
Stand topless sideways in front of a mirror. Bend at the waist 90 degrees. If your nipples angle to your chin, you're FOB. If they angle to your waist, you're FOT. Straight down is even. You could be weird like me and have inner fullness (nipples pointing at mirror). This means you'll tend to fall out of low plunges (like the Freya Deco) and you'll tend to have cleavage if your bra fits.
Hope this helps!

I've done that, but I think I read the way you're supposed to do that is by wearing a bra that fits. I think I do have inner fullness, because even when I'm not wearing a bra, it looks like I have cleavage (I made a picture like the NSFW photo collage of shallow/projected breasts-I don't know if I can post it)
When I do the lean over thing, it seems even.

Unfortunately you can't just try on a bunch if your size isn't stocked in stores.
Freya Patsy may work, but be sure to check the measurements and pictures on this site. IMHO, the cups run big and pointy. Also, in my experience ALL Freyas run big in the band relative to Cleos.
I'd recommend trying the Cleo Lily in a 30D if you can stand the available colors (pink and blue). It's discontinued (the new version is Erin), but still available on Amazon as well as directly through the UK vendor, Lingerie Outlet Store. (FWIW, their prices are very reasonable, but you'll pay shipping on returns). If you order from them directly, BRA10 gives 10% off.

helpfulThis same thing happened to me with the Cleo Izzy. I'm also rather narrow and projected. One of the Cleo's that's more closed on top might help with the gaping. Also one that has more immediate projection would stop any orange in a glass that's happening. Any of the polish brands would probably fit you. Good luck with the bra journey!

I don't know what bras have immediate projection. And I feel like all the reviews I've read for bras mention them being shallow.
Where can I find the polish brands? They haven't come up in my search. -
Comexim, Konrad, Ewa Michalak, and Avocado are all Polish. Most of those will require a special order for a 28 (60) band. The Freya Icon Plunge might work for you. It's much narrower in the wires and will be more regular feeling. I also liked the Freya Dare plunge. Don't be afraid of 28s! A bra with a firm band will last longer and the cups may fit you better. A smaller band will also help stop your straps from being in your armpits! Check out what Ebay, Amazon, and current listings here have!

If you want to try either the Dare or Icon Plunge I have both of them listed in 30Ds. They were just too small for me.

I've been stalking eBay and Amazon. I don't particularly like Amazon as it seems like all the bras I like, that I *think* are my size, are $40+. I hate having that much in limbo for a bra that may or may not fit.
I also am not sure if the 30Ds that you have would fit, since all the moulded bras I have (or tried on) in 30DD have been giving me extra cleavage. -
I feel the same way! It's super frustrating to have to go through a billion listings and try to find the bras you want at a reasonable price. Amazon listings change price constantly, so you can always put them on your wishlist and see if they settle into your price range. Checking out the measurements of a style helps a lot too. I've heard a lot of people take a larger size in Moulded bras, so that could explain it. You might also just be in between sizes like I am. I really would try a 28 band though. Freya's bands are stretchy so that could be a baby step towards it.

I have a 30D bra by parfait that was way too small.
I do compare the measurements of bras that I'm interested in, but I feel like I need the measurement for the opening/top which isn't included.
I have a few items on my wishlist/cart that have gone down a few dollars; I'll have to doubt check the measurements -
Yeah I agree that the top of the cup measurement would be nice! Or just a general indicator of how FoT or FoB friendly a style is. No harm in just trying anything with free shipping and returns! :) Good luck in finding the right fit!

I've never heard of avocado, is that a brand or a style of Comexim? In those bras you suggested, should I stay with a 30DD? I'm actually sister sizing up because the calculator gave me 28E/F as a size, but I think a 28 band would be very uncomfortable.
Thank you
