Bra fitting help » another one - too small, what would you recommend?

Issue resolved
I'll get a bigger bra in a different model
Original problem
Another one of my recommendations that seems to be too small. It does feel like a perfect fit, but my nipples are in the see-through part of the bra - like a full cm above the line - and I think that's not supposed to happen. I'm also falling out in the middle, but I can't have a higher centre gore because my breasts are so close together that almost every bra pokes me in the middle.
I'm probably falling out in the middle because this bra has a side support panel, but I like that, because I have wide breasts and would otherwise fall out at the sides. I also like the shape if they're not too separated. What would you recommend me to try?
(I also just put up another fitting help - http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dlzfa/)

helpfulI agree with the others this looks too small.
Just one point that I believe hasn't been addressed above though--nipple placement in the cup means absolutely nothing. Yes, if it's a full cup bra and your nips are escaping completely, clearly it's too small. However, where the nipple sits in relation to the seams that are on the cup has no significance at all!

It's such a common misconception! If we have a Brafitting Myths page somewhere, it ought to be on there.

It's just that if your nipples are directly at the seams, the seams might hide the nipples. But it's not an requirement for the bra to fit.

helpfulOn this one, it looks like the underwires are too low. You look to have a fair amount of projection for your size range. Have you tried pulling them all the way up into your IMF? How does that change the fit? It also looks like a shape mismatch - you appear to have upper fullness or at least a taller root, and this bra looks like it closes in too quickly. Look at picture 3 of 4 - I wouldn't call you FOB just based on that picture. More even than FOB.
Also, the cup depth is more than an inch smaller than your horizontal perimeter, which would suggest it's also too small. They don't have to match perfectly, but an inch is a pretty big difference really. Have you tried any 28F bras?
Finding narrow gores will be difficult, although I think Curvy Kate has some that are narrower - I know my Bardot gore is narrow but that shape wouldn't work for you because it's really closed on top. Maybe try the Dreamcatcher or Princess? Almost all of CK's bras will be wider wired except their brand new SS2015 cuts, and their unlined bras are less-shallow than their molded bras, although they're not projected like an unlined Cleo or Panache Envy or anything. If anything, if you can find a bra that otherwise fits, you can alter the gore by folding the fabric in a bit and throwing a few stitches in it to make it narrower - keep in mind this will bring in the wires on the sides slightly.
Have you tried a Cleo Marcie (may be too FOT for you) or Cleo Lucy (better for FOB)? Classic diagnostic bras.

thanks for your help!
Is it weird that I have an aversion to curvy kate just because my childhood bully was called kate? :P
What do you mean with too low underwires? In the centre I can't go any higher because of the separation issue. I also don't think I can make the gore any narrower - the wires are together at the top, it is just the width of the wires. On this bra the gore width is okay because it's so low, but then again that causes me to fall out in the middle...
I think I'm just wide in general, bottom and centre probably.I don't know what you mean by IMF, but I have done the swoop and scoop! And pulled the band up as far as it would go so it is just at the point where my breasts attach.
-
This is what I mean by IMF http://lcl0706.imgur.com/all/
It stands for infra-mammary fold.If you've pulled the band/wires all the way up in there, then it's just the pictures making it look weird, or it's sliding down out of your IMF and you don't notice it. Which would not be a band issue, it would be a cup shape issue.
Your aversion thing made me lol. Don't avoid Curvy Kate because of that, though, they may work for you. They have a couple of newer plunges out - the Daisie and Dare - that have really low gores. If the wires are touching at the top of the gore, you probably can't make it narrower, and the Marcie and Lucy will have gores that are too wide for comfort as well. If gores that are so narrow the wires touch are still uncomfortable, then you're probably stuck looking for plunges. Which can be unfortunate if you have center fullness as well that tends to fall out of plunges (me! me!!). It's actually painful, and not just uncomfortable/unusual because you're not used to a gore that tacks? I found some tacking gores really uncomfortable at first but now that I'm used to them being there, I don't notice it as much and actually prefer a higher gore to contain my center fullness... and I would consider my boobs fairly close set. Their center roots touch at the top, but it takes taller than a 3" gore to stab me.
Your other fit check definitely looks uncomfortable in the center, but I have to wonder if these issues might be somewhat ameliorated by a bigger cup (in the right shape of course) to begin with, so you're not squashing tissue into a too small cup - that could definitely cause overflow in the center... just a thought!
-
your picture doesn't work, but I understand what you mean now. I think it slides down because the cups are just too small at the bottom.
I have one plunge that I don't fall out of, the Freya Deco moulded plunge, in 28E I think. I will put up pictures later, I think that's one of the only bras that actually fits me. Also not perfect, but at least I'm not falling out anywhere. I'd be looking for something like that with a little less cleavage.
-
Damn. Here's the picture, for real this time: http://i.imgur.com/LrXugqr.jpg
Yes, interested to see the Deco.
Edit - what about the Freya unlined plunge bras? There's a million of them... Arabella, Siren, Firecracker, etc. They have lower gores and will not give you the cleavage a Deco does.

helpfulYou appear to have very similar dimensions and breast shape as I do, and I'm basically 28F in most brands, with Cleo Maddie and Marcie being the exception (28FF, they run small). So I would definitely recommend you try 28Fs. If you really like Curvy Kate, definitely try Ritzy in 28F (just bought it myself!). I also have found that Curvy Kate is usually all over the place when it comes to size consistency, but Ritzy seems true to size in comparison to all my other 28F bras. If 28F still seems too small in most bras, definitely try 28FF as well.

helpfulI agree with the others, I think this bra would work for you in a 28F.
There are some listed bras that look like potentially good matches, if any of them appeal to you:
http://bra.pe/GCpu/
http://bra.pe/GC9Q/
http://bra.pe/GC5o/
http://bra.pe/GBSF/
http://bra.pe/GBW6/Although I'm not personally affiliated with any of these bras, I like buying/selling/trading on here so I try to promote it. The cups of these bras should be a better match for you and any of them would be a good next direction from here. Good luck!

helpfulSo, I added pics of a bra that I think fits: the freya deco moulded plunge, 28E

http://media.bratabase.com/cache/79/f4/79f4a274064cbe954601a8ffe3898eab.jpgDo you think it fits? I wrinkles at the top if I exhale, but is tight if I inhale. I guess that's what you get with molded.
I like the cleavage it gives me on occasion, but not for everyday! So I would be looking for different options, and I'm not entirely sure this fits really great.Updated on July 9, 2015 Flag this

The bra looks maybe a little pushed-down in front by your breasts. It's hard to tell in photos unless it is really severe though. Do the underwires sit in your IMF, or are they lower than that?
-
they sit in the IMF! I think that effect might be because the bra is a bit more shallow than my boobs.
-
oh! I thought with bras like this it had to be in the non see-through part of the cup. Learn something new!
