Upgraded cup size
Original problem
The gore does not lie flat against my torso which I, since finding proper, fitting bras, have come to expect. It doesn't really change my extreme happiness with the fit and the shape, but I am planning on buying another one and was thinking if I should try another size. The band is supertight so that should not be the problem. Or can it? The cup volume also seems to be right, nothing is gaping or spilling and everything is keeping pretty much in place, but I was thinking of going up one cup size if that might keep the gore in place better? Or just keep happy with this one? Suggestions?

helpfulIdeally the gore should sit flat on your sternum in the right fit. You're very close-set so I imagine that's a struggle for you in most bras, but you still want the gore as close to the sternum as possible. This is floating enough that I think you need to go up at least 2 cup volumes. That might make the band more comfortable, too.

helpfulits almost impossible to find strapless bras that fit. but for regular bras thats not acceptable. You are showing cup depth of 11.8 and breast perimeter of 13.8 to 16. Those measurements should match - the perimeter of your breast should equal the 'depth' of the cup.

helpfulI would say that gore not flat is a sign that the cup is too small. A bigger cup will also relieve some of the tightness in the band so it won’t be fighting the cups for space. Cup depth looks small compared with the perimeters you listed.

Hi, and thanks for all your input! I followed you advice and bought a 36H (don’t think the cup size runs higher) and it is A LOT better! Not perfect, still floating like half an inch, but better! Thanks again
