Issue resolved
Thank you for all the help! I am going to try this in a bigger cup and try some other options to see what will work better for me.
Original problem
Hi everyone, this is my first time trying out a Panache Sports bra. The band feels good, but I feel like the cups aren't tall enough, or aren't big enough in depth that I still have some jiggle up where the top of the cups stop (like they're squishing me and my tissue comes out on top). I'm not sure if you all can see that it's cutting in a little.
This size is much better than the 32DD, link to 32DD is here: https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dn2xz/
Is this normal to have this jiggle? Or is it because I have soft breasts with tall, shallow roots? Should I try the 32F?
Edit to add: My shape is full on bottom, with tall but shallow roots, average width (I think), with soft tissue, center full.

helpfulIt's a bit harder to judge in a garment with covered cups whether the fit is "wrong" so to speak, but the fact remains that NO sports bra out there can control jiggle in flesh that it does not cover and contain, and usually optimal movement reduction even for the covered part of the bust is best served in a sports bra that is truly full-coverage--meaning it contains all your tissue. (This is why you seldom, if ever see athletes in very high-impact sports compete in support tops (or bra/crop) styles that expose any breast tissue at all, even for sports like track, with overall very tight and low-coverage team uniforms and predominantly smaller-busted body types.) So, if the next cup size up can still provide a firm enough fit in the cup while successfully providing full coverage, that will be your best bet for a secure fit when you're exercising!

braluv if you like the nonwired I think it is prob worth trying both styles, wires make everything so much less forgiving fit-wise! FYI the Panache sports of both styles have been on the market such a long time that you can usually find a past season colorway for super cheap if you look around enough.

helpfulYeah, I think so.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think 32F might be good then? I don't see any measurements here for that size, but I'm hoping it will come up a little higher too.

I think that we’re similar size and I’m thinking that the sports bras fit a bit smaller/snugger. I tried a few Chantelle sports bras that fit pretty similarly. I’ll have a look at the sizing of them, taking into account of the EU size vs UK size.
-
Ok, I tried the 65G and 70F EU so 30F and 32E UK respectively, I believe. For me, both volumes fit, however, my horizontal perimeter is a little bit smaller than yours so I do think that you could probably fit in a 32F. To be honest, I probably could too, but I’m quite soft and fob, which leaves a bit of empty space. But I did do a little measuring and I think that the Panache might fit a bit smaller than the Chantelle. I would say do it...give it a try!

Gosh rereading your post and we’re almost boob twins.

Calluna Lol, I think we are boob twins, yay! :D I will see if I can order the 32F, it seemed to be available when I looked. I also saw the regular Panache is on sale at Bare Necessities, so I might order that one too to try. Thanks for all the help!

I await your reviews!!

I know that you're talking about Panache sport bras, but I recently discovered that Victoria Secret sport bras in 32DDD fit me. Barely. But...I am a full cup size bigger than both of you, so you might like to go take a look-see. They have great support and coverage and I bought 4 during a sale - each for under $50.
-
I don’t have a VS here but maybe I’ll find some bra size sports bras locally that fit that aren’t $80+.

Calluna who goes to the mall? Online, baby ;)

Thanks AprilGoulding for the recs! I actually went to VS a couple weeks ago and tried some 32DDD sports bras, but couldn’t get any to fit (they felt super shallow and my boobs were popping out from the top). I didn’t try all the styles because they only had 2 in my size (I think the knockout, a bra with another zipper bra in front) and I think the incredible (?) not sure. The 34DDs I tried were way big in the band. I will definitely give it a try again in a bigger VS store that has more stuff.

Hmmmm. braluv that's odd because you're index size is smaller than mine and I am super projected and all up front. I have the front zipper ones, no underwire.
Try yourbrastore.com
They're closed for restocking right now but they sell past season inventory at very low prices. You might find a cheap Panache there. -
Thanks again AprilGoulding I will check your recs out! 😄

Thanks wendybien ! I am going to see if the next size up will help, or maybe the regular Panache style might be a little better. I’ve also been checking out some other brands/styles here on Bratabase. I’m put off by how expensive they are (but I completely understand why they are expensive if they’re good, lol).
