Bra fitting help » 65J Quads, 32H gapes...
Comexim » Sonia Plunge Bra » 65J 30:10
Issue resolved
Comexim uses at least two different sizing systems for their bras, and their index size is not that comparable to other brands. Comexim 32H is at least 2 sizes bigger than their 65J.
Original problem
Some minor quadding, but 32H Anna Pardal For Comexim Caramel Latte Sophisticated has major gaping. Which size would be safest to order from Comexim?
At the moment this may be my best fitting bra, but I can feel the squeeze after a day of wear, and there is minor quadding after scooping and swooping.

helpfulI also wonder why Sonia is marked to be 30:10 but feels similar to other bras size 30:8-9, and is said to “fit the same” as other bras 30:6-8.

I mean that Bratabase classifies it as 30:10, or is the classification just by the size label converted to index sizes? I thought the index sizes are according to the actual user measurements. Sorry, new to this...
I know they increase their cup size by 2 cm by cup, so their cup sizes are not the most basic. Does not seem to apply for all of their bras.

The 32:10 simply means it is the 10th cup they make in a 32 band. That's why you get a wider range in the similar to and fits like columns. All the information works together to help paint a bigger (and often confusing ) picture of how this model compares to other brands, styles, and or models depending on the data that has been entered over the years.
Comexim can be inconsistent (just like all brands) so one bra isn't necessarily going to match another even in the same size. Different styles will measure and fit differently, but you will also see some variance within the same style, and even the same model.
The information can be a bit overwhelming when you are new to our bra world here on Bratabase, but it gets easier over time, I promise!

Ok, that helps! I thought the index sizes were compiled from the size data, but if it refers to the available sizes from manufacturer, then at least Comexim kind of offers "half sizes" for some bras compared to some other brands. So 30:10 in Comexim fitting doe snot mean that 30:10 in other brands is likely to fit, but need to look into smaller sizes in most brands. I try to look at each bra measurement individually, if available and if I have the time. Thanks!

You're welcome. :-)
The reason is different brands make their cups differently. Some run big, some small, others inbetween. Joys of human manufacturing and ideas of sizing.
