Sending back, just not what I'm looking for
Original problem
Some pulling at the the center gore and a little extra space at the top. As I settle into it there's some empty space at the horizontal seam...

helpfulDoes the band feel tight to you? It looks a bit tight in the pictures, and according to your measurements, it's shorter than your tightest/smallest measurement. Do you have an extender to try to see if the fit is better?

Now I'm doubting myself, maybe I need to put on the 80E again and putz around in it for awhile. ...
-
confused if 80 felt too big, then maybe all you need IS just that one extra set of hooks with the 75 and an extender. Then you can stop using the extender when the band stretches. Do the centre lines on the bra go away when you try it with an extender?
-
When you put on the 80E loosen the straps as much as possible and see if that helps with the riding up.
-
With straps all the way loosenes on the 80E the band feels ok but theres more extra space on the cups at the horizontal seem and the top area is pretty empty. When I tried an 80DD in a BM the wires were too narrow and sitting on breast tissue under my arms. The 75F with an extender feels better when I add to more hooks to it and has less cup emptiness than the 80E, and is
T reduces but doesnt eliminate that pulling effect near the gore. The look of the pulling with the extender vs. the 80E is about the same. I'll try and add a pic with extender. I do wish the 75 had 3 hooks instead of 2 though, I prefer 3! -
Leaning towards keeping my 75F as I'm working on losing weight and I often do the band size with a loss of a 10 to 15 lb. The BM may be a better technical fit but it to hike up for some clothes

So I wire with an extender today and it rode up today! Hmmmmm also could have been a function of the dress I was wearing (very tight in the bust and almost too small lol) so one more try tomorrow before I decide
-
I loosened the straps to make sure they weren't pulling up the band, but then they were falling off my shoulders every 5 minutes, so tightened them back up a bit. No band riding up while the straps were loosened. After a day of wear I am noticing just a bit of digging in under my breasts at the wire. All in all it's just not as comfortable as my BM, even though I like the style better. Sigh...

confused so have you decided if you're keeping either of them?
-
I think of the 2 the 75F with an extender is better. I have more coming today (a lighter color SF which is better for a more universal color and a S bra too), then I'll decide. I just want to be comfy and have my boobs look nice, apparently that's a lot to ask LOL I'm also trying to figure out my root height to see if that helps me pick out better bras. I know the width is on the narrower side of average, I'm definitely center full, and pretty soft. Maybe figuring out root height will help steer me in a good direction too.
-
confused oh I can't wait to see them! You can do another fit check asking for root height. I'm leaning towards average to short rooted on you, but I'm not very good at deciphering shapes on other's boobs so take that with a grain of salt, lol!

I may have to do that, just seems hard to tell if it's not an otherwise good fitting bra maybe?? I'm leaning towards average to short as well, based on the gapping I often get at where the cup meets the straps. I also most often have trouble filling out the very tops of fuller coverage bras, even though I'm pretty even distribution for FOB vs. FOT. The center fullness throws me off though because then I also get edges cutting in on more full coverage bras towards the middle. Based on what I was reading having more short roots can make you functionally FOB and looking at bra recs for shorter roots it has several bras I've worn in the past and been the most happy with. I wish Levana had some CHPs I could try! I hate to pay shipping from Poland to take a chance and there's not a ton used in my size range unfortunately. Maybe I'll do some internet searching and see if I can find some elsewhere...
I tried an 80E and it was riding up. I could probably add on more set of hook with an extender, but definitely as it stretches I'll size out of the 80 a lot faster. That could be whats causing that pulling in the fabric from the gore though...
