Bra fitting help » Unsure if spillage is normal?
Vanity Fair » Body Shine Full Coverage Underwire (75297) » 34DD 34:5
Issue resolved
Decided to get a bigger cup size, smaller band size
Original problem
I feel like this bra worked in the fitting room but after the scoop and swoop method I’m a little worried about the fit. I’ve tightened the straps in the middle and the hook is on the loosest. I noticed some spillage but maybe it’s a normal amount. What do you think? I have a larger bust so I feel like I will always have spillage.

helpfulFrom what I can see from these pictures and from the fit issues you've indicated, this bra looks definitely too small in the cup for you. I'd probably say to go at least two cup sizes up (to a 34F). If you feel as if the band is too small, maybe try a 36E or maybe just try an extender.
Here's a link for fitting yourself for a bra, though, just in case my speculations are off: https://bustyresources.fandom.com/wiki/How-to_determine_bra_size
In the future, for fit issues, though, it would most assist us other users here in order to help you if you included:
A. Your measurements
B. The bra's measurements
C. pictures of: you wearing the bra from the back (to see the band), a top down view of the front of the bra (to see any issues with the gore), and a side view of the bra.I'm not too familiar with Vanity Fair, but if it doesn't make sizes you would like to try, 34F/36E is a size common to almost all of the most popular bra companies on the 'browse' page (Freya, Cleo by Panache, Ewa Michalak, etc).

e1b881200ddd430e87ce4c7214c8a8 That isn't what I would guess given the pictures. I have a few bras myself I'd consider to be one cup size too small for me, and the feeling I usually get when that's the case is 'maaayyyybbbeeee if I wriggle around a bit and keep adjusting my boobs it's not that noticeable.' From these pictures, though, I think there's a fair bit of tissue not being encassed by the bra.

Good to know. What style of bra do you think would be best? This was a full coverage bra but I don’t think they carry Fs or Es. would prefer not a granny bra. Besides the spilling, do you think there is enough support? Or so I need to look for bras that lift?

Once again, difficult to say. Mainly, I'd just say go looking around through bratabase or other similar websites. See if you can find bras in the size you want to try, see if you can find reviews of that bra, and then see if the reviewers have a similar shape to you (they'll probably indicate their shape in the review). As for granny bras, I'd say the E/F area is still in the realm where some more mainstream bra companies make those sizes, but specialty full bust brands don't really make granny bras in my opinion. Best of luck!

You were so right. I did a virtual bra fitting through Curvy Kate and she said I should be a 32FF (Uk) and 32H (US). Whoops, I was off! How does Curvy Kate compare in their sizing to other bras?
Thank you! That’s helpful. I was thinking 34 DDD but I guess not, huh?
