Issue resolved
Will fern get larger cup size, smaller band size
Original problem
Should I keep this bra? It is so comfortable. It also lifts and doesn’t sag. BUT I’ve noticed lumpiness under clothes and just too much boob showing. How much is too much? I just love how comfy it is but I think I’m going to have to give it up.

helpfulBased on the fit issues you listed, I think you have your answer. This bra looks 2 cup sizes too small. You're not filling out the bottom of the cup because your breasts are pushing the wires down out of your IMF. I think you need a bra with more immediate projection but it's hard to tell because it's so small.

Welcome to the journey of finding and wearing bras that fit you. Be prepared to throw out size, shape, letter, and number expectations! Be brave and be ready to learn lots. Think smaller band, bigger cup, more projection, and no boobage leaking out at the sides, to or middle. Good luck!

Thank you! Yes, learning so much. I guess no more going to JCPenney for bras. Do you think I have a projection problem or a cup problem? I had not idea I had a projection problem because I feel like I’m full all over.
-
You feel full all over because your cups are too small all over lol!
-
But you may actually be full all over. I was functionally FOT in most bras until I started wearing Ewa's FBs. I think they are a hair big on me in the smallest size, and they also run super tall, and also have room for bottom fullness below IMF - so i have plenty of room all over now!
But dont let me confuse you - i wear 32/34 K/KK . . . very different shape

Good to know...I’m pretty short. I just thought boobs always come out of your bra (at least somewhat) until recently. I know I’m behind! I thought I was just a part of being a certain size. But then I started feeling back pain and my clothes looked lumpy so I needed to reach out for help.

I guess I would ask now do you think I need to go for a different style because of my shape? Honestly still confused on what my shape is.

You’re probably going to have to try an unpadded bra to determine your shape. Padded bras tend to hide shape, and any fit issues with the bra.

There’s no padding in this bra but it is lined . I’ve never even thought about wearing an unlined bra before...good advice. Thanks!

My easiest fit bra when I started was cleo marcie - i dont know if they evne make it. but its definitely some trial and error unless you find a really good fitter at a specialty bra store - but at least the one near me is closed for covid-19.

Thank you for the advice!

Well, no, this bra is not lined, it's moulded and padded. Padding doesn't necessarily mean bulky push up in the bottoms of the cups. Padded cups always hold their shape, that's how you can spot them. Try to avoid them for now and learn how to measure yourself and your bras, figure out your shape and size.
If you like Curvy Kate, try out Brastop. -
around here we sometimes call this style 'foam dome'. It fits very few people well but looks smooth under a t-shirt. there may not be padding you can remove, or thats separate from the bra, but its made of a padded fabric, not just 2 layers of fabric, but something with foam in it
Oh good to know....so a bra with more immediate projection would be what kind of bra?
I just did a virtual fitting with curvy kate and she said I’m a 32 H US and a 32 FF. Guess I’ve been WAY off on sizing. I guess I just thought Iifted and comfortable and because of my shape (tissue heavy on top) that was normal.
