Tried bigger cup sizes
Original problem
Is this size still to tight?
I have been trying different sizes of bras and 32DDD or E didn't work for me because it felt too tight. People suggested I go up two cup sizes and I did, but the band still feels tight. This one left marks after I wore it for 15 minutes tops. Theoretically this band size should fit my measurements, so why doesn't it feel right?Should I go up a band size?
Otherwise, this bra is getting a lot closer to fitting than others. The cup sides, top and bottom fit.
My other problem would be this little bit of skin folding (idk what to call it) near the straps. Its in one of the pictures. Not sure if this is supposed to be there or not.
Also, this bra isn't super supportive by virtue of being an unlined bra. So looking for reccomendations for something that will fit my full on bottom not super full on top boobs, inner fullness I think.

helpfulIf it feels painful/uncomfortable, it's not a good fit. Don't worry about being technically correct - comfort and support come first.
1) Based on your comments and pictures, I'd recommend try an unlined Freya, in a 34F or 32FF. Freya has stretchier bands than Cleo, they are more projected (might help with that fold you dislike by giving your boob more depth in the bra), FOB friendly, and in styles like Ignite, also center full friendly. (check the cuts/lines on the Freya brand page to see what models fit similar once you find one you like) .
You can test a band fit by putting a bra on upside down and backwards. If it slides easily, or feels like it could without the straps, it's probably too big. If it feels too tight, then size up.
2) when you say this bra isn't "super supportive" what is the criteria you are looking for? That can help us make better recommendations. It looks "supportive" from the pictures. Are you looking for extra lift? Cleavage? No bounce? Front/center, or separated?

If that's what you like, go for it! There are a few bras styles that can give that sort of lift and look.
1) plunges like the Freya deco, or Cleo koko
Work great for some, others find them wide and shallow. Can sometimes give that classic buttcrack cleavage.
2) halfcups - these sometimes have a vertical seam or two (Freya halfcups, Cleo mimi, EM CHP, comexim halfcup) but some are molded foam (Freya deco halfcup, a few Cleo styles like the maddie). Can also be wide/shallow (EM and comexim are notable exceptions -narrow and projected). Halfcups can give that "cakes on a plate" cleavage sometimes.Based on your shape I don't think you'll find a perfect fit in these styles, but you may find something supportive and comfortable enough, that makes you happy with how it looks, and that's what matters.
3) EM bras. I think this will be your sweet spot, but they are harder to find and try. Getting the right size and style may take trial and error. They are narrow and projected, with great lift, and insertable cookie pads for asymmetry/a little extra oomph. If you can, try a CHP, an S, and a PL and see if they meet your needs.

helpfulMarks aren’t necessarily a problem as long as they fade pretty easily and aren’t painful. Skin gets discolored from pressure, think about sitting with your legs crossed in shorts and the red marks it leaves where your legs were touching. So if it’s comfortable I think it look ok. Checking the band backwards like another user said will help you narrow down if that feels too tight. There’s also a degree of personal preference there, some people prefer or can handle more “grab” in the ribs, and people who’ve been wearing way too loose bands for a long time may need a bit to get used to it.
I agree I’m not sure what you mean about support. Cleo generally has good support and they look nice and lifted from here. Freya isn’t a bad idea to try either.
As for the fold in the skin, it could be due to how your breasts attach to your torso. This happens to my friend sometimes, it doesn’t seem to affect fit.

helpfulIf it hurts just go to a 34F. Bras are supposed to be fitted but not uncomfortable. I own size 32s that I cant wear due to weight gain. Definitely go up in band size at least there are adjustable clasps that you can tighten to your liking but you can't loosen a bra thats too small so keep that in mind.

1. thank you for the advice!
I've tried some freya unlineds but didn't know you could check the cuts like that on the brand page, so I'll go look at it.
2. By supportive I guess just lined and puts my boobs up more like a push up. For some reason in my head that's a better look?
