Wacoal » Scene Stealer Underwire Bra (855312) » 34DD 34:5
I’m looking for some input on this bra. It’s called the Wacoal scene stealer but I think it might be a newer model! I initially ordered a 32E, my usual size. I found the band to be super tight and the cups too big. Sized up in the band and down in the cup to order a 34DD. This one looks like it fits to my (not well trained) eye but is just less comfortable than my other bras. Can anyone help me figure out the issue? It still feels pretty tight in the band. The underwire doesn’t feel quite right but I’m not sure what the issue is. Any help or direction would be much appreciated!

helpfuli would try tightening the shoulder straps a tiny bit. wacoal i've noticed has "full figure" bras and then their "shallower" fit bras. i only fit into their "full figure", but i wrinkle in the cup on some models like u r in the pics. is the cup fabric stretchy? their stretch cups fit me usually, but not their non-stretch. their full figure lines i've noticed run tighter in the band, but they stretch out fast!
i think that this bra fits well considering how hard it is to get a perfect fit on an off the rack bra. i'd keep it if it's comfortable and looks good under tops.
oh and i've been told by fitters that wacoal has wires shaped for oval ribcages, that's why they fit me better than most other bras, so maybe that's why the wires feel off...Updated on November 15, 2020 Flag this

helpfulI see a lot of gapping at the under arm area on this, and it looks wide set on your frame. Wacoal's are tricky for me, so I don't have a lot of experience. I think you might try a 34D as well, which would actually be a cup size down from what you originally tried as another commenter said. If it's uncomfortable though I know I won't wear it, so that's concern #1 to me always!

helpfulI'm not great at determining fit, but this looks about right. It may be slightly too projected for you or it may run slightly large in the cup.

helpfulPush into the wires with your fingers. Does it push into the rib cage or does it push into breast tissue? Hpmeslty this be a looks like a pretty damn good fit. I think getting a 34D will just make the band feel tighter and compress your boobs. If you don't mind a bit of compression, give it a shot. The band will likely not feel very firm any more given fantasies history and the stretchiness of this band. I think it'll be fine after a few wears and washes. But it is only worth keeping you feel like you will actually wear it.

helpfulThis looks like a great bra for anyone with underarm fat, which you do not have.

Echoing the question above from hopeforthefuture ; is there any stretchiness in the cup fabric?
It looks to me like perhaps a 34D might be worth trying. Because if the 32E's cups felt big on you, this 34DD should be a sister size - which would essentially mean a similar sized cup if I'm correct? (no personal experience with Wacoal here).
Anyhow, if its uncomfortable for you, I'd say don't go for it.
There might be many reasons why, every body is different in their tolerance: fabrics, wire firmness, depth, just the general 'build' of a bra may match one person's body perfectly but feel 'off' for somebody else.
For me personally, I've learned that comfort-wise I don't do well in 'bandless' bras, where the cups make a U-shaped dip below the band in the front, if that makes sense. Looks like this model does a bit of that?
