Bra fitting help » Pointy shape, not sure if it's a fitting issue or just the type of bra

Issue resolved
Figured out that this bra is just pointy, not necessarily a size issue as I can see.
Original problem
I have decently projected FOB to even, center full, low set breasts with wide roots and soft tissue. This bra gives me an odd shape that could be due to its structure primarily or because of fit issues. I have some wrinkling in the fabric near the center diagonal seam of the cup. I also think the cups might be a little excessively wide at the wings.

helpfulFreya plunge bras are known for being a bit pointy in shape so yes, I'd say part of the reason is the bra.
Apart from that, I'm thinking a smaller cup / larger band may help.
Not sure if your measurements are up to date, but the stretched band is noted as being a full 6 cm. tighter than your 'tight ribcage' measurements (64,5 cm. versus 70.5 cm.)
Visually in your picture it doesn't look crazy stretched - does it feel tight on you/?For me, a 6 cm 'overstretch' would make a band uncomfortably tight. Which in turn would also make the cups 'pull' towards the side and leave less space for your boobs to fill (a.k.a., the cups are larger than they seem).
Which is why I think -depending on your personal fit preference of course- that a 30E, perhaps 30F can work better!
If you don't feel like the band is too tight, maybe try an 28F and see if that helps.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will be sure to re-measure. I think my key takeaway is that I want a more rounded shape. If unlined Freya bras are going to give a pointy shape then I probably shouldn't even bother.
As for this bra in particular, I tried it on again and I think the bra fits. The band was a little tight at first but 'gave way' later on. 30 bands are much too loose on me so I think I'm probably going to have to stick with a 28 band. The cup depth/width might be something to explore as I have lost some weight since my last bra journey and am in need of resizing. I actually bought this bra to see if a 28FF would work. Aside from the underwire going slightly past my breast tissue (I have wide roots) and the apex area wrinkling, my breasts seem to fill the cup? Might just be a bra issue.
After fixing my ribcage measurements, are there any recs that you'd have of what I might try based on my shape? Thank you ladies so much! -
Ahhh jazzypants , I only looked at carlysle98 's tight underbust measurement and the band's stretched band, but I totally think you're right and the stretched band measurement should say 74,5!
That seems more typical of Freya and makes way more sense considering the other measurements and pics.

helpful1) patsy was designed for projected, FOB breasts. This fit issue can be cause by:
A) a cup size too big (common if you normally wear half cups, shallower bras like deco, or Panache - many people say Freya runs a cup size big, I argue that others run a little small, but it's the same result, typically a shape mismatch between brands/styles)
B) a cup size too small (less likely in this case, but its called the orange in a glass effect)
C) a too-projected style (if you're even, self supporting, or slightly shallow, there might be too much bra for you)
D) a cut designed for a different boob shape (this is my best guess)It could be a combo of any of the above, but you know your breasts best.
2) Not all Freya bras are so pointy, but yes, patsy and it's sister cuts are. They are pure FOB bras. You can look at cuts on the brand page https://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/cuts/ to see what to avoid. If you want to try another Freya, the Ada cut (I love the ignite) is rounder and more even friendly.
Freya will never give you the basketball round Cleo shape, but they have many many cuts that are not elf shoe/pointy.3) The way you describe your breasts make me think Freya makes the perfect bras for you, just not this cut. Try one of the cuts that is designed for fob to even, and is centerfull like gem/rio (perfect for even, short, center full, but you may need to size down a cup) or center full friendly like Ignite (afterglow is a maybe too). I've tried on many freya, and I've gotten a shoe elf shape (I think that was the starlet plunge, same cut as patsy) very pointy cone shape (ooh la la, another fob cut), a slightly rounded natural shape (afterglow, tropics) and an amazing naturally rounded shape (gem, rio, ignite), all from different unlined Freya cuts.
*****
Tl/dr - Don't dismiss all unlined Freya bras just from one poor fit. Freya makes so so many options, and the different cuts definitely fit very differently. I promise they are not all pointy!

carlysle98 happy to help! What else have you tried so far? What fits you best right now?

Before my weight loss I liked the Lulu Tout Madeleine T-Shirt Bra (figleaves), Cleo Blake, and the Freya Patsy Balconette. They're all in 30FF, but I feel like none of them are fitting me especially band wise. That might be worse because they've probably all stretched over time. Cup wise they're maybe a tad large due to the weight loss.
To be honest I think nothing is fitting right now so that's why I'm on the hunt again. I recently purchased a Deco Plunge in Nude (28FF) for t-shirts, I own the Deco Vibe in 30FF (which used to fit, was a good t-shirt bra). The Lulu Tout was definitely a better fit but it's discontinued and I don't like how the strap adjusters turned the straps green on the ones I already owned. The 30FF Deco Vibe that I owned is now also a tad big in both the band and cup.The 28FF hasn't arrived yet so I have yet to test if it fits but if not I'll just return it.
I've also updated my measurements as per the other helpful user's suggestion--they were WAY off (especially the laying breast perimeter, yikes).

The difference between the band length and the stretched band length is less than 2 cm - no doubt an error. Freya bands lean towards not being particularly stiff so given the measurements of torso and the band length would say that it should be a fine fit. However, your torso measurements seem too tightly grouped. It would be worthwhile to review how to measure and redo them. I know that it took me a while to be consistent and precise with measuring both myself and bras.
Given the bra's structure, it seems like a decent fit. The 28F may give you the narrower cup width that you are looking for but the cup depth may be too small for you. I cannot quite make out the side breast tissue/cup width in the pictures. It is a cute bra on you. The question is does it look good under the clothes that you typically wear and is it comfortable? If not, time to look into shapes that you like better.
