Issue resolved
sister sizing and adding alterations
Original problem
best fit so far but the straps are a bit wide for my liking.
there seems to be a bit of space up top due to my soft tissue wanting to sit in the bottom, but the edge sits fairly nicely.
also tried one cup size down and there was a slight bit of quadding
the band is also too big so thinking about custom sizing and would love advice on any other alterations

helpfulHi vivikink, it is very possible that you have a fob shape or maybe short roots and with this particular style, this could be the best fit you will have. I feel this way because the bra fits you nicely now but once sized down it doesn't fit. You will likely not be able to fill out the top of the cup without a few adjustments. It is possible to add cookie pockets which you can use to push your breasts up in the cup. If that is not your preference you can have the cups reduced by 3cm to help with the extra fabric on top or you can try 2HC in Comexim which I am specifically recommending because they are not as projected as 3HC and can help push some of the tissue up in the cup. Even though it's a more open top cup and I would recommend closed top cups for you, the shallowness will work in your favor. Lastly to help with the straps have them moved in 2-4cm to help with the width.

helpfulIn the end it all comes down to personal preference, but to me yes, this does look slightly big.
How the cup 'tapers' up to your chest but your breast tissue doesn't seem to follow the curve, if that makes sense?I also have the Gloria and like you, I've found the band quite big & stretchy compared to other Comexims.
So maybe 55HH would help - a band size down but keeping this cup size, essentially 'sister sizing down'?Or try 55J with lowered cups, like MissAponii suggests.
I would definitely move the straps in as well, 2 or 3 cm usually does the trick.Keep in mind though, that both alterations (moving in the straps and lowering the cups) also make the overall fit smaller. So I wouldn't go for too large adjustments (2 or 3 cm) and perhaps compensate in what size you end up ordering. 55J would be my advice if you choose these modifications.

thanks, as a 26 was planning on sister sizing down anyways but this has helped me figure out what direction to go in with alterations.
