Issue resolved
Thanks happycat for the continued help. Will look at some of the bras suggested.
Original problem
Okay, I feel like I'm getting closer each time but there is still a ways to go. I got this bra on a recommendation from the ABTF reddit. I bought the larger band because most 32s make me feel like I can't breathe but in this brand the 34 is clearly too big. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a 32.
I bought a C and D cup. The D fits better. I hope the pictures are clear enough. On my larger breast the cup seems to fit pretty well. The shape seems pretty good. There is a bit of gapping in the lace right at the nipple there is also some wrinkling at the bottom but the top of the cup has a good angle.
In the smaller breast there is significantly more wrinkling which I would think means that I don't need a larger size but people keep telling me that sometimes wrinkling means too small so I'm looking for some feedback on that. Also hoping that someone has a suggestion for a similarly shaped bra as this seems to be close. Otherwise I'll just be scrolling through the bratabase in search of it for the next few days.
Thank you to all of you who have helped me so far and given suggestions.

helpfulFrom the side view, it looks like the cups are too tall for your roots. Perhaps look into bras suited for medium height or short rooted shapes?
As for overall size, it's possible that you may be in between cup sizes. If you consistently find that 34C is too small and 34D is too large, or 32D is too small and 32DD is too large, you could try Thirdlove. They have half cup sizes. So you can try 34C½ and 32D½

ISOgoodfit I also have tall roots and I occasionally find that some bras are even too tall rooted for me. I've only found this in like 2 bras ever, but it can happen.
I guess try to find a bra that is for moderately tall roots.

helpfulThe cups are too wide and not enough projection at the wire. If you are looking for that taller cup style of bra perhaps a high apex or shoulder bra would suit you better. Stick to the 32's that measure at a 32. It can take time to get used to it, but if the cup is the right size it should not take too long. Also, the bra is not quite level in the front - be it from putting it on crooked or the difference in the breast size pushing one side down more than the other. Continue on with the journey!

I am curious how to find a bra with more projection at the wire. Can you give me any tips on that?
In regards to the band size, how would I know that a 32 measures as a 32? Give me some help here. Even looking through bratabase most 32s are somewhere between 24 and 28 inches band with 28 to 36 inches stretched. What specific measurement should I be looking for when you say a 32 that measures at 32? A too small band literally causes me pain so it isn't something I'm willing to get used too. Happy to find something that does fit thought.

Looks better than your previous bras. The cup depth is close to your measurements too.
Have you tried https://www.freyalingerie.com/uk/en/lingerie/bras/high-apex-bras/expression-uw-high-apex-bra/p/aa5494nae/ ? Freya bras usually have good average projection, and the high apex could fit your tall roots without cutting in. It's a bit similar to this bra.

I really like the look of that one, I will add it to my list for sure. I have several bras coming this next week. The idea that the closer you get the easier it is to find other things that are close is definitely holding true.

There is certainly a learning curve about our own best fit style and size. It can be quite a process to take up initially, but so worth it when you find out what works and can rely on finding things with similar cut and measurements later, or tweak the search by adjusting just one or two numbers. It is comfortable to be in well-fitting size, and looks good to be well supported, not smooshed.

Saskia_C Can you expand on your comment about the roots? I would say that I definitely have tall roots. It would be super helpful for me if you could explain what you see that indicates this is not the case, either in the bra or my body. Still trying to figure this all out. This is what I am basing that idea on. My breast tissue continues up like the third picture. https://i.imgur.com/2ZvOpRU.png
Also, good to know about the half sizes. Thanks!
