Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) » 28HH 28:12
Issue resolved
Concluded that my shape is best suited to Polish brands and some Freya styles.
Original problem
The Panache Envy seems to be a staple bra for most people and I’ve also often seen it described as a “diagnostic bra” to help work out breast shape. I feel like it almost fits me yet is kinda off? I think it fits well enough initially (despite slightly too wide wires and gore) but it slides down my front a little bit soon after. I guess that is due to the more immediate projection I need that this bra is lacking. I tried the size up (28J) already but the wires were even wider and uncomfortable, and the cup was also too big on my smaller side (wrinkling underneath my smaller boob). I think this is a shape mismatch.
Could I please get some specific bra recommendations based on how this fits? Also, in terms of shape analysis, I think I have close set, even with lots of inner fullness, low on my chest, narrow breasts with average roots. Does that sound right based on the pictures?

helpfulI think your assessment of your shape looks pretty accurate. You could take a look at Ewa Michalak's BM style maybe?

helpfuli don't think ur shape would be considered "low".. i think they might be "middle or even high" on ur chest. i don't think panache wires will be a good choice for you. have u tried any Wacoal bras in their full figure line? i think we have similar shape, and panache bra do not work on me, pretty much all uk bra's don't work on me.
have u tried bra's made for "petite" bodies? they are sort of hard to find, but i think it might be worth giving them a go since it looks to me u have a small frame.
i'm only speaking from my experience and i'm hard to fit. so... honestly, i don't think that bra fits too bad, but if it's painful to wear after a short period of time then i would say give it a pass. good luck on ur bra journey, sorry i couldn't be of more help.

I probably should’ve mentioned that I’m 5ft8” lol. I think my breasts are low set because I typically have to wear bra straps on the loosest setting possible and my breast tissue starts around 3.5 inches below my clavicle. Although, I don’t know if that’s a good way to determine it? Anyways, I’ve never heard of bras specifically made for petite frames but I’ll have a look if that means they’ll have narrower wires (I hope they don’t have shorter straps though). Are there any specific brands?
I just did a quick Google search of Wacoal and I don’t think I’m in their size range unfortunately (unless I +4 myself). I think I’m the same as you regarding Panache wires — they just all seem to be too wide for me at this size. Probably most UK bras too. But I did keep this bra because I agree it’s definitely a good enough fit (and like my only bra I can wear all day without discomfort at the moment). It’s just the cups sliding down at the front that irks me. It’s definitely not painful though.
Thank you and I appreciate your help :)

Rozelyna i don't know of any petite brands, but some manufactures will make a "petite" bra every once in a while.
i too have strap length problems, they sometimes don't get long enough for me, even though my bare breasts are a tad above the mid-line between my elbows and shoulders (some ppl use that rule of thumb as a guide to how "saggy" boobs are).

I’m glad to hear that! I only somewhat recently realised my shape after thinking I had wide FoB breasts for like 2 years lol.
I have ordered 2 Ewa BM bras (Antonina and Koronkowa) in a 65H but I think they’re gonna take a few weeks to arrive. I also worry I should’ve got 65HH’s instead?
