Issue resolved
I think this is an issue of my center-full breasts, will compare this bra with the Panache Jasmine.
Original problem
I tried this bra on, it's obvious that the band is too loose (I was sized as a 30F yesterday, on the ABTF calculator, while Bratabase estimated me at 30FF-30G yesterday) oddly the gore digs in to my sternum though (even after trying it on for just a couple minutes, a couple minutes!) The cups seem to fit p-e-r-f-e-c-t-ly, though. (note: this is the first time in my life that I have tried on a bra and smiled: ) Thank you, ABTF community!
I'm returning this bra to the Amazon, b/c the band is too loose and the gore seems to be an issue. But, I'm guessing gores r gonna be an issue for me with center-full, and short root breasts?

helpfulFunny how everyone's got an Envy at the moment! (I'm actually wearing mine right now)
Center full, maybe, but I don't know why having short roots would make gores be painful. I have short roots, and I don't have that problem.
How does/did the gore dig in? Was it at the top? All throughout? Did it feel like it was digging into breast tissue or just the skin between your breasts? It's hard to see from just the one picture, but I almost think the gore is just a smidge wide for you and that's why it's digging in.
I don't think it'll be a problem in general--the Envy is part of my collection of bras with tall, wide gores that I like so much (I have a good amount of space between my breasts). Plunges or Polish bras /might/ suit you better, but you should be able to find non-plunge UK bras with shorter/narrower gores, I think.
As this is the style of gore I like, I can't really give you many suggestions, but I will say if the gore on the Envy is bothering you then I think you wouldn't like the Panache Olivia or Cleo Marcie either.

The Envy and BMs might be sort of comparable, but in my experience BMs have lower, narrower gores, narrower wires, and softer fabric.
If you're into checking out Polish bras, I'd actually recommend the Comexim Whimsy Floral (CMWHIMSY) . It has a narrower, softer, lower gore, and a pretty similar wire width to the Envy.

bustyand , coooool. thank you for your suggestion (CMWHIMSY)! Adding to my "favorites" now. Will have to check out that style. I think it would be suitable for me...Plus, I kind of like the flowery, lacy bras. If a bra doesn't have lace, it just won't work for me, lol. (sorry, I didn't see your comment until just now, I guess I didn't notice my notifications. Anyways, thanks for responding!

helpfulSounds super familiar - I generally can't deal with high gores either. Being close set is definitely a factor but my roots are tall and that's still no help. Also just sternum sensitivity and general build & tolerance I suppose?
For what it's worth, to narrow down what causes your discomfort: for me personally with Envy it's not just the height but also the super firm Panache wires that bother me. The tack is too hard, if that makes sense.
For bras with lower and more comfortable gores: I'd recommend Curvy Kate, Freya, Comexim, most Ewa Michalaks.. Let's see basically anything but Panache haha.
A couple tips for this issue (if you ever do encounter a high-gored bra that you really want to keep): for a second hand pink Envy I recently purchased, I've bent the gore outwards with pliers, definitely makes it more wearable. Then there's also the option of narrowing the gore; by sewing the wires together in the middle, and thirdly you could replace the wires with softer and / or shorter ones.
But those are all solutions for bras you already own / got 2nd hand / for cheap - first choice would obviously be to purchase a bra that doesn't cause you issues (;

Haha, that's perfect. Of course, I would first chose the bra (Panache) with all of the firmest gores, amiright? LOL. Yeah, I think maybe sternum sensitivity is a factor...Thanks for your response!
I will be trying out some Comexims soon (I ordered some from Breakout bras last week) so I'm curious how they will compare b/c of what you just said about Panache's "tack being too hard." because I generally don't have an issue with gore irritating me, the bras I was wearing previously (Victoria's secret). Thank you so much, bubblegum !

So, not digging into my breast tissue, but just the skin under the gore, just kind of in the center? ...it's a pity really because in other aspects, the fit is good for me. Just the band is too loose, which is why I ordered several sizes from the amazon (I'm gonna try one band size down, so a 30FF instead of this one, which was a 32F - the cups seemed good on this one, as far as I could tell, and the 30FF should be arriving on Friday) I'm used to wearing V.S. bras, almost all the gores are pretty low.
Hmm, will soon be trying Polish bras as I ordered some from Break out Bras. I like the idea of ordering directly from the Comexim website, however I don't really know what to tell them as far as alterations, but it's nice they are supposed to do them for free.
I'm also going to compare to the Panache jasmine.
I just don't think there's enough space for this gore, with my center full breasts...I'm curious now to see how the Jasmine compares though.
I was told this bra (Panache Envy) is closest to the Ewa Michalak "BM" style bras. Would you agree bustyand ? Thanks for your response to my question!
