Issue resolved
I am going to try bending the gore and putting a barrier between me and the gore.
Original problem
This seems perfect except for a slightly painful gore. Will that break in?

helpfulIf you love it and don't think you'll sell it at any point in the future, you can gently bend out the wires at the gore. The other option is to wear a cotton pad or makeup wedge under the gore. Another option is to switch out the underwires for a softer or shorter wire, but that may compromise the fit as a strapless. That actually looks like a great fit for a strapless molded bra....they are notoriously difficult to fit!

helpfulI've found painful gores never get less painful. I would put a cotton pad between skin and bra, but it didn't relieve the pain. Usually the gore was too high. Is it possible your breasts are close-set and therefore the gore is lying on breast tissue? The only molded strapless bra I found with a low enough gore and good shape from the side was from Ewa Michalak. Unhappy with the fit and shape, she discontinued them. If you can figure out a way to bend out the wires at the gore or pad the area effectively, I think you'd find this strapless useful. The shape is pretty good.

learningaboutbras , I just wonder how this one would fit...

Now that I've seen it, BraOdyssey , I'm wondering as well. I tried on a balconette Adina Reay bra at Nordstrom Rack once. It flattened and widened my breasts. My body shape is an inverted triangle, so I try to make my torso look narrower from the front. The Adina Reay's profile reminded me of Montelle's. However, I understand both brands work well for some. The one you linked has a wide back band, which I LOVE.

helpfulTbh, I don't this so.
You should probably try a different bra.
edit: I love this bra troubleshooting flow chart from bras and body image. I keep posting it! http://brasandbodyimage.com/2013/12/11/troubleshoot-bra-size/
Also, I notice you are wearing a molded cup bra - these are hard to fit successfully, unless you have shallow breasts.

Thanks! I will probably keep it and deal with it since I need a strapless for upcoming events...
This is indeed my only molded cup bra in my correct size (I still have not replaced a molded cup plunge in my “old size” 32D). My others are unlined @RosaFaia twin and a ThirdLove 24/7 tshirt (which is sort of halfway between molded and unlined). Interestingly both of those wrinkle at the bottom and won’t stay in my IMF so I assumed I need immediate projection...and therefore don’t understand why this one nearly fits!

Hmm, that's interesting.
I've never tried that bra/brand before, so I can't speak to it.

If the gore really bothers you, I know amazon has "bra liners" These were more for sweat though. https://www.amazon.com/Bamboo-Cotton-Liner-3-Pack-Medium/dp/B01K1XB05Y/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=bamboo+bra+liners&qid=1622750576&sr=8-6

learningaboutbras, I was burning time carelessly on Instagram when I came across this bra I liked from a Luxury Brand (UK brand); I went over to their Insta and I noticed this strapless bra...looks so comfortably and light! I wonder how it would work...https://www.instagram.com/p/CGLIUXRgAtA/ Adina Reay (funny spelling, I know...) is the brand.
Probably $155 cad & tax (possibly + shipping) https://www.adinareay.com/products/fran-multiway-bra-toast
