Bra fitting help » Too tall for me or what?

Issue resolved
Loosened the straps and moved them out a bit. Seems to help the lace lay down better (but not quite all the way)
Original problem
Lace edge doesn't lie flat. To tall or wrong size?

helpfulPerhaps loosening the straps would give a different shape as they look a bit too snug. It never hurts to have a couple of stitches to tack down the lace for a more pleasing aesthetic. I do that all the time and consider it a very minor alteration. Easy enough to take out the stitches if you do not like it or you plan on selling it.
How often does clothing fit perfectly off the rack? I do not expect my bra to! Otherwise, it looks very nice on you so I hope that it is comfortable in the long run.Updated on May 17, 2019 Flag this

helpfulI agree with loosening the straps they look too tight with that indent, if they fall down excessively then make an adjustment at the back so they set further in (falling down occasionally is common place).

It's funny you mentioned the straps, I started to lengthen them a bit when I went to put it on, but I have been fighting with straps slipping off my shoulders lately. Especially my left side for some reason. I will give that and maybe give a minor tack in the lace a try. I don't expect I'll ever find a bra that doesn't need some sort of tweak. I don't think I'm that weirdly shaped or anything, but at the same time, why can't I just buy something that fits?
I love the bra and even though the lace doesn't lie flat, you can't see it under clothing. I wore it all day yesterday and it never slipped down out of my IMF. Very few bras stay up on me, so it seems to be doing its job. I wonder though if going down a cup size would fit me better?
