Bra fitting help » FOT,Close-Set Any bra recommendations or advice? Cup too small or wrong shape?
Comexim » Burgundy Half Cup (357) » 65G 30:7
I believe I have close-set, average root, slightly center full, full-on-top, averagely projected breasts. Bratabse calculator recommended this exact bra in a 65E. The gore on this bra is great. I'm totally fine with a bra giving me some lift but I felt like this one pushed up too much. I think there's not enough room at the bottom of the cups for my breast tissue so it pushed everything up.The Comexim bra holds scoop and swoop pretty well compared to all the other bras I've used but feels like there's not enough room for it. I feel like the Comexim doesn't really quadboob but it does push up too much, like the bra is not projected enough. Should I size up in this or is it just not the right bra for me. Is it possible that it's the wrong bra for my shape? I've tried the Marcie as well https://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dnayj/

helpfulI think it’s too small in the cups. By 1-2 sizes. I’m not sure if it’s a shape issue or not. Judging from the Marcie fit, this should be better as it is more open on top.

helpfulSee my comments on the Maddie... Comexim runs even more notoriously small in the band than Cleo, so this is once again a case of an overly-tiny band distorting the cup fit beyond recognition. I also would say, based on cup measurements, that you MIGHT also want to go up 1 cup volume--but try the bra on again with an extender to reassess how the cups fit before committing one way or another.

helpfulMar72 thanks for adding the photos with extender! I think that is informative--it makes it clear the cup is too small, but not vastly so... it's still squishing you and the apex is lower than your own but I think this design could fit you quite well if you went up 1 cup volume. Since you probably also want to go up in the band to avoid cup distorsion, this would then bring you to a 70G. I'm fairly optimistic this would work ok for you... Based on other user photos and reviews, I get the sense this particular Comexim has a cup that offers pretty decent depth at the apex (most projected part of the breast) and most of the fit fails occur with people who are heavily center-full, which is not your case.
My only concern would be if you are super high-set and have firm pectorals or underarm tissue that conflicts with bra wings/wires that are higher than these. The 70G would probably have wires that go at least a tiny bit higher on the side.Updated on June 27, 2019 Flag this
