Original problem
I like the fit of this plunge more than the Ewa Michalek on me. BUT I'm getting the dreaded wire digging in under my boobs that hurts at the end of the day. A bigger cup gaps quite a bit. I may try it with one set of hooks on an extender, but any looser it feels like its riding up. I also couldn't sister size up I couldn't do narrower wires. Am I just doomed to never wear a comfy plunge?

Does this one feel too shallow for you? Is it wide enough?

Its definitely the right width. If it's too shallow it's very minor, theres just a tiny bit of empty space in the bottom of the cups. It could be the band being on the tighter side that's causing the pain so I'll try that and see what I think!

So with the extender its gapping a bit 😢 it feels better but it gaps a small amount on my larger side and a bit more on the smaller side. I cant do a smaller cup size. Wondering if doing a customer order with reduced cup height would help?

Added some pics with extender. Its probably not terrible honestly, it sits almost flush with my larger side, but the "dip" it has at the edge of the cup shows through clothes because the top edge isnt really supporting anything, just kind of laying there. The apex is also slightly wider than where my nipples sit, though not nearly as bad as the PL from EM. If Im already on the fence about keeping it I probably wont wear it so I should send it back, just wondering if any modifications I can request would improve the fit!

Looking at it it looks time a pretty good fit, especially with your arms down (which is where they are going to be 95% of the time). If you wanted more oomph you could put a cutlet or pad in, since the wires are too narrow for you to size down. You could try reduced cup by 1cm as well, but there’s no guarantees.

It looks like a reduced cup height might work for you (but then it's not returnable). You can also request cookie pockets added (but they don't come with the actual cookies). If those alterations don't work for you, then it might just be a shape mismatch.

It looks pretty good with the extender. I would not go anymore than 1cm reduced cups. You could consider the straps moved in 1cm too. That alone might help the minor gapping.

I am wondering if the band might be tight for you in this bra? It looks from the front picture like it might be pulling. Sometimes bands can run tight even if it should be the correct size for you according to the size chart.

I agree that the band looks tight. Loosen the straps as much as possible and slap on an extender and see how it feels!

I did have to loosen the straps again, when I tried an extender they were pulling up the back. Trying it on with an extender already feels better, so I'm gonna try that a bit more before I decide! I think if I went up a band size I wouldnt be on the loosest hooks and theres only 3 rows.

Yeah a too tight band can really pull on the wires and cause them to dig. Good luck!

You can also ask them to use a 4 column hook tape.

I'm gonna try it for a day with the extender and see what I think. I did get it from Breakout Bras so returns are easier and I have a bigger window. But if the under boob pain doesnt improve then it's not any better than my "for cleavage occasions" Freya Deco Cameo that's still a bit too shallow and aches at the end of the say but is otherwise serviceable lol
