Bra fitting help » Side of cup wrinkles. Should I keep?
Parfait By Affinitas » Tess Unlined Bra (5022) » 30DD 30:5
Issue resolved
Returning this one! The wires are pretty stiff and by the end of a few hours, the gore rubbed my skin raw. Not enough projection as well.
Original problem
This seems to fit well, but the side of the cup wrinkles along the edge and the gore digs in a little. Is this a fit issue or a size mismatch?

helpfuli'm close to ur size. i've wanted to try that bra for sometime now. from my experience with "side-support" bras. they always seems to wrinkle at that part for me. u mention the bra gore digging in... does it hurt? i would not keep a bra if it hurts. if it looks ok under clothes and doesn't hurt. i say keep it. but from my experience with side cup wrinkles is that they are very noticeable under clothes (even with an undershirt or cami) so i would probably pass on it.

helpfulTo me, the cups look too wide and not deep enough. I think you need narrower cups with more center projection.

helpfulI think I just did another fit suggestion for you You definitely need a cup around or under 8 inches of depth, with a cup that wide. Here's what I'm guessing... in the above bra, you need a 30C (wider cup = less cup depth needed).
For your shape (like mine... center full but more full on bottom (FOB) you need the opposite... 30D perhaps (cup width 5.5 max... 5.3 better = more cup depth = more forward projection). Width between cups under 1 (this is better than your other bra... see how your boobs look more projected when not pushed apart?).
I think you'll find yourself in a 28E or 28F one day. Use an extender if you do to break it in.

Thank you so much!! You're right, I think the wires are too wide on this one... I've definitely struggled to find bras that are adequately projected. I guess the search continues! :)

Yeah, the wrinkles are pretty noticeable. The gore really digs in between my breasts, and the wire is stiff enough that it hurts. I've tried wearing it for a day and had to take it off after two hours.
