Issue resolved
I did not understand projection and differences between brands
Original problem
bra feels comfortable enough but certain positions/movements make it look like the cups are crazy big... yet in another positions it looks fine.
-small gap at bottom of wire
-small/huge gap at one single area of the top of the cup or the whole cup depending on movements.

helpfulDo both cups fit about the same? You are holding the phone to take pictures with one arm, and showing the gaps on the other cup, just curious if it is about the same on both sides. The folding and space between the bottom of the cup and your breast is because your body wants a bra with more immediate projection, it will push the bra down to get into a better space for your breast. So, one thing would be to try out some bras with more immediate projection and see which ones help the underwire to sit in your IMF. I need a lot of projection, and I still often get some folding at the bottom of my bra from this, as long as my bra fits comfortably and sits in my IMF, I don't worry about it. As far as the gapping at the top, we can all see some fluctuations with how close the fabric is to our breast depending on posture and how we hold our arms, but I agree with you that this is a pretty big gap. I personally think that you would need to try a cup size down to see if you could have a smoother fit, but since the bra has some other problems at the wire, I think this might be a shape mismatch, and trying a different bra entirely would probably be a better choice. I bet some other people on here will be able to give you more information about other potential causes related to your shape and the bra shape as to why you are getting some of the gapping. Good luck!

helpfulI would guess this bra is 2 cup sizes too big. But as veggiechic said, then you'll probably run into projection issues. A lot of folks assume projection= pendulous, but that's like how all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares. Projection just has to do with the ratio of breast tissue volume to root surface area. If the ratio is greater than 1, you'd probably find a better fit in a more projected bra. But if it's comfortable and you find it supportive, that's the most important thing.

I see, so I need a bra with more projection in 32G?

Yes, that's what I would recommend trying next. It looks like you are relatively new to the ABTF journey - are you comfortable with trying an unlined bra? 3-4 part unlined bras tend to be more projected than foam cups, unless you're looking at Polish brands. I saw you had one other half cup style longline on your profile - how does that one fit? A 34FF is sister size to a 32G.

I am not sure if I have ever tried an unlined bra but sure, open to any suggestions. I do prefer longline because it helps with my back.
I can't find the other bra I added, but I think it was the cleo longline?which I loved but it was too small even at the band it seems, so been thinking of maybe trying a 36G in that one?

Cleo bras do run tight, so sizing up to a 36 might work well. If the cups fit, then try a 36F in Cleo. If you had some bubbling over the top, try a 36FF.
If you want to try an unlined Freya, I'd recommend a 32G or 34FF. If you want to stick with longlines, Freya does have some unlined longlines - here's a couple on Amazon (with free returns so you can adjust sizing):

Ah the Freyas are lovely but only 2 clasp, I love the thicker bands in the back and 5 clasps like this one, it's not about the looks but about comfort, my back feels a lot more comfortable in this.
I remember a maidenform convertible bra that had 4 clasps and an X shaped pair of elastics on each side and I was in heaven, I have never seen one like that again.

Comfort is most important! Good luck in your hunt!

Thank you for your reply, I never considered focusing on more projection as my breasts have always been pretty full and round so I assumed that meant less projection.
Yes both sides have the same amount of gaping if I make the same movements on both sides, my breasts are fairly even.
