Bra fitting help » tall, wide, maybe too big also?
Bravissimo » Allie (LN742) » 34JJ 34:14
Issue resolved
It's not too big enough to try smaller, it's comfortable and supportive enough for me to be happy with it.
Original problem
So this bra is a little big I think, or at least it's too tall for me. I think i could do 34J in it. The wrinkles in the bottom of the cup are minimal in this bra, so I think that's pretty good, and the wires remind me of Panache wires, they are okay and don't feel as terribly wide like Alana does.
Basically my question is , should I keep this size or exchange it for 34J and possibly risk it being too small? I like the bra overall, it's comfortable.

helpfulHonestly I think it's not much too big. I think you need the room in the bottom and centre cup. Might be a bit tall and wide and the 34J would be a better fit for you in cup height and width.
Can you order 34J to compare? I think this style is a much better fit on you than the Alana in pink.Updated on September 16, 2020 Flag this

Oh wow that is quita a difference in measurements! Do you experience size fluctuations with your monthy cycle? I personally have 1 week before my Period PMS boobs that don't fit into my regular bras anymore - I need either stretch lace or size up 1 cup.
I think if I decide to give Bravissimo another chance next time, get the same bra in 2 sizes so you have direct comparison.

I usually just feel firmer and "full" during my period but not really enough to need a bigger cup, and I don't have a cycle because of the birthcontrol I'm on so it's not regular enough for me to notice a difference.
I just felt the other day, and my boyfriend agreed, that I looked bigger, so I measured and yep, I am. Super random.
if they come out with some new cute styles for spring or something, I might be tempted to try them. Then absolutely I'll order 2 sizes.

Ah okay then it might be some breast growth.
I'm guilty of it myself... I want to try many cute styles but sometimes one should just focus on 1-2 but diff. sizes :S
I think this bra looks better on you than most of your recent ones. -
It certainly lifts them up a little better than the Kris Line's do!

The KL bras give no lift. My Brillant is terrible. It does nothing for my boobs. This bra looks like if it were bit less tall and wide would be perfect fit on you! Also I quite like how it looks on you... when I first saw it on Bravissimo I was like meh but it's nicer than it looks on their pics.

Yea I wear my brilliant because it's comfortable, but it's not the best shape.. It's good bra when I don't feel like being super "boosted" haha.
Allie is really nice, the material is so soft and silky. It's very comfortable. A lot of bras I find a bit stiff and irritating, but this one very good. I only have gaping in the top cup near the strap, which is normal for me anyway. For you it might be a little too closed on top if you were to try it, although it's not super flush on me so I'm not sure actually. I can't compare it to Darcy since that one is 2 sizes too big and has stretch lace :(
The promo pictures for it was lame, it looks nicer in person for sure. I'll write an actual review shortly too :P
yeah this one is the best fit by all of them, I'm not sure I'd order another to compare, only to exchange. I'll think about it for a few days but I also think I might need the extra room that the JJ has. The tallness doesn't bother me at least so that's not much of an issue and the wires are not uncomfortably wide by any means .. Not sure what to do, it's so hard! But also i've actually grown this time, my leaning measurement is 7cm bigger than the previous 4 times I've measured, and now the abtf calculator does put me in 34J only, not 34HH/J. So I also don't know if maybe I'm just fluctuating right now, and will shrink back in a while, and then this 34JJ will for sure be too big.
