Issue resolved
bustyand pointed out cup size was not accurate, recommended going up 2 cups. Will try
Original problem
me: FOT/ Center full, wide roots (I think) and relatively narrow frame.
Super comfortable bra. Despite clearly running at least 1-2 cup sizes small, the cups, gore, straps & band felt tts and suprisingly comfy for a brand new bra.
I could have put it on the 2nd or 3rd row, but it was distending the cups, as they were clearly too small, but 1st row was fine too. Gore seemed to give my very center full boobs enough room.
I didn't expect such comfort to give me such a great shape, but overall it kept me up and rounded.
Problems: (see 2nd pic on) After a few minutes, my breasts were starting to come out of the top and lean into the center, like they always do - but still no quadboob - just escaped boob.
My R boob asymmetry (which I didn't realize was so dramatic as I've been wearing sports bras and a padded bra for the last 5-ish years!) is really obvious.
(As a side note: taking these pics I was shocked at the difference in my boobs - Righty has always been .5-1 cup bigger, but it's looking closer to 1.5-2 rn. Had strange hardness & tingling right before my last few monthlies along with what I think may be newer "growth". Wondering now if I should get it checked out)
The cups were a tad bit tall for me, so I didn't quite fill out the far top corner near my underarms, which is relatively normal for me, but this was much more pronounced after a few minutes' wear.
The other odd thing was that I noticed my boobs migrated south, with the bottom of the cups sinking below the underwires - not sure what that means, or if that's normal?
Overall, it's a really beautiful and comfortable bra. This is easily the 30th bra I've tried in the last month, and by far the best fit/shape I've found for me, overall.
Am I hung up on the wrong bra? The comfiest, best fit I've got is at least 1 cup size too small & the band is stretched out, but it's my old 30J - Flirtelle » Ellie Padded Bra (FL6411)

helpfulHmm...what size were you trying to get this bra in? I have a suspicion that this bra is from Breakout Bras, and if it is, that's a 30:12, not a 30:14. BoB labels their Comexims two cup sizes up.
My personal opinion, I think it'd be worth it to give it a go at going up 2+ cup sizes in this bra. The bra might then be wide on you and the sides might be even taller, but those are issues I think most people find minor.
And by all means, go see a doctor if you can if you think something is up with your boobs/they're not acting like they usually do.

bustyand Thank you. And you're right - it is a Breakout Bra exclusive, apparently, and I did follow their recommendation to go 1-2 cup sizes up from their converted UK size. Frankly, I find the whole thing confusing. I get US & UK sizes - I've been buying those bras for over 20 years, but the Polish sizing is a bit lost on me.
(Funny enough, I chose my screenname and opened my account 1 month before getting pregnant 5.5+ years ago and I'm just coming back now. Still want to try going Polish tho lol)
FWIW, I tried on a couple other padded & unpadded HC Comexims from BOB a few weeks ago, and the 30JJ/30K/30KK range seemed to be around my size, tho they were all too shallow and open on the top for em - which made it a bit hard to gauge. *sigh*
I will hit my MD up - don't want to take chances - thanks for the support.
