Straps moved in 2 cm made a perfect fit!!!
Original problem
I am in love with the aesthetics. Fit seems so close. Band is good. I’ve been wearing it half the day and is comfy. I get some slight gapping on the larger side, and more obvious gapping on the smaller. Debating keeping it and maybe doing a slight mod to take out extra cup fabric on the upper edge. Thoughts??
I think this size with a slightly reduced cup height and straps moved in might be perfect though....

helpfulIs it something that might fit better with period swelling? The fit looks mostly good but I do see the gapping. I think it’s always gonna happen on the small side, and the big side is minimal. You might want to see if a seamstress locally can move the straps in a few cm as that might aid the fit more.

confused if you have the ability to make it work with cookies and straps moved in, go with it. It’s a limited fabric and you might regret it later if you return it.

Calluna I moved one strap in 1 cm then did the other 2 cm by mistake lol. The 2 cm would be too tight on me modding to myself in the larger side, because I have to stretch the underarm elastic over a longer area. BUT I think if I bought one from Comexim with straps moved in 2 cm it should be a perfect fit!! Now to remember my sizing, a 36FF would be a an 80G???

helpfulClothing alterations are essential for a good fit for many body shapes and sizes, no reason why alterations on a bra should be declasse. Seems to be a tall order for a bra company to mass produce bras and have people think that they should fit everyone! Go for it! It is a beautiful bra and all the important parts fit you well.

Excellent point. I think we’ve been culturally brain washed to think if it doesn’t fit us off the rack there’s something wrong with our bodies. I’m just getting ready to rip out seAms to move the straps in and adjust the underarm seam to match!

Oh I can move the straps in myself, if I decide that will help. I can also use leftover cup foam to make a cookie too. I’m just so on the fence. It’s so gorgeous but if I’m nitpicking the fit will I wear it ?!?! Tough decisions lol
