Bra fitting help » wire too wide, shape slightly off, what to try next

Issue resolved
got a better direction on what bras to try next
Original problem
so it feels fairly close but there empty space in the side, and the top of the gore also seemed to want to pull away.
there's the slightest big of wrinkling at the top too.pretty sure i'm just too center full for this bra so while it covers them nicely the shape is just a bit off.
any recommendations on where to go from here?

helpfulI think your assessment of this bra and fit is correct (it looks pretty good actually and definitely a close fit).
You probably need something with even narrower wires and a narrower or overlapping gore because you say it's too wide and you're centre full. You probably don't need the side support, as I find they work better for wide breasts. There was quite a variation on wire width measurements on this bra in BTB...maybe try measuring again wire to wire with the bra laying flat, just to make sure you measured the width right. If it ends up being 5.1 again with the re-measure, then you may have a bit of a tricky time finding bras more narrow, but there are some... What you could try, is a bra with more of a U underwire shape and less of a swoosh under the armpits. You can try altering the shape of the underwire if it's a bra you plan on keeping, just to see what it does for the fit of the bra overall (by bending the wires into more of a U shape to see if it follows you root better). When you take this bra off, do your roots look more U of swoosh shaped?
You can always try narrowing the gore yourself on a bra you plan on keeping to see if it works better for you also. You can put in temporary stitches to bring the gore wires together. This can be done up high on the gore and/or also down lower on the gore to bring the cups in closer.
For myself, the only way I figured out what fit was to just keep trying different bra shapes until I knew what worked and what didn't. Sorry that's probably not very helpful, but make sure to take note of how half cups, balconnets, and plunges work on your shape. This ones a balconnet, so next you could always try a plunge with narrow wires for example. This one looks pretty good in terms of depth and projection.
