Bra fitting help » First Polish bra Gapping and cups too small? Which size/model to try next?
Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170) » 75H 34:8
Issue resolved
I’m still unsure. Lol. I did email Comexim for their feedback and they suggested the same size but with straps moved in.
Original problem
Welp I think this is the wrong size and may also be wrong shape? I’m not sure where to go from here. The band feels fine to me but the gore doesn’t tack at the top and there’s uncomfortable pressure at the bottom. Gaps at the top of the cups, and it seems like allll my tissue is in the centre. I swooped and scooped and the wires are in my IMF.
Should I try 80H with shortened cups? 3HC?
I seem to always have trouble filling the top of cups even in unlined ones.Edit: thanks everyone for the feedback! Looking at the bras that do work for me, it looks like this isn’t deep enough yet too tall (typical depth of bras that work for me are 10”). I’m thinking of trying a Comexim 3HC 75HH with shortened cups and straps moved in...?

helpfulI honestly think it’s a pretty good fit. It’s a plunge so it’s supposed to bring your boobs close together. That’s just what plunges do. A 3HC will be a taller gore and less of a plunge. You could try a raised gore for more separation though. The pointy shape is likely to relax with a bit of wear as the foam heats up and molds to your body. As far as the gapping goes, you could try to move the straps in 1-2cm but if you are going to raise the gore, it might be better to just lower the cups 1-2 cm ( but 2cm will probably make it more plungey booby for you).

I think raising the gore might help push the tissue to the sides a bit. If you push the gore so it sits flat do the cups then feel/look too small?

You can kind of see on my 70H - Comexim » Hot Chocolate Plunge between my initial pics and my update pics that it’s rounded out a bit. Mind you, it was rounded out prior to me adding the pictures in December.

Dvrgrl812 when I press the gore to sit flat it gets rid of some the gapping on top.
It doesn’t feel smaller when I do that. Maybe a taller gore is the fix? And leave straps as is? The cups do leave marks on the outer sides of my breast tissue I wonder if the taller gore would help with that too? -
Looks like a pretty good fit, if it's comfortable enough. Cutting in at the sides sounds like an issue, but I don't see it in the photos.
Is there more gapping on the right side? Have you tried cookies?
I had similar gapping on my EM plunge that otherwise had good cup size and projection. I did not think I need cookies, but cookies for bottom half (not push up type side cookies) came included and I was surprised that I liked the shape they gave.

happycat thank you for the feedback and suggestion! Yes There is more gapping on my right side. My right breast is definitely smaller than the left so it’s an ongoing issue for fit 😅 I could definitely try out a cookie to fix the issue. I’ve thought about trying cookies on a few bras but wasn’t sure which kind to try. I should get a few for this very issue!

No, I have alterations on the hot chocolate. It’s a little bit too tall still, so I’m still trying to figure out what to do with the alterations on my next order.

helpfulLike others mentioned, if it's comfortable; don't worry about some minor fit issues!
But if there's discomfort, yes I'm thinking you may do better in one cup size larger - it looks somewhat small? For me, a cup depth measurement that kind of matches my breast perimeter works best (though this is different for everyone - depending on squish, shape and personal preference).
If the band feels comfortable I wouldn't size up in that.
So a 75HH could be good?In my experience, Comexim Plunges fit roomier than the 3HC. So depending on the style, go for a 75HH or in 3HC you may wanna even size up to 75J. BUT - the Basic apparently does run small or so I've heard. So in other styles you could stick with 75H, or ask Comexim for advice!
Definitely ask for straps moved in, to help prevent gaping - and perhaps lowered cups? (but yes first figure out what size you want, as this makes the bra non-returnable). Keep in mind that moving in the straps and lowering the cups also effectively creates a smaller fit!
Good luck (:

bubblegum thank you for the feedback much appreciated! I tried wearing it for a few hours and the bottom of the gore dug in bad so yeah I don’t think I can get this bra to work unfortunately. I’m thinking of trying the 3HC with straps moved in and shorter cups. Maybe I’ll try emailing them and see what they think I’ve just been nervous to :)

Calluna Thank you for the feedback! I hope you’re right that it will soften up so it’s less pointy and more rounded. I don’t mind the cleavage but the gore does float at the top.
I was hoping this bra would somehow push tissue also towards to strap part of the cup. Maybe just getting the straps moved in would help that.
