Bra fitting help » Gaping smaller side, slight quadding larger side, floating gore. Wrong size?
Comexim » Basic Half Cup » 70F 32:6
Issue resolved
Exchanged for a 75F, which fits much better.
Original problem
I think the cup is pretty close on my larger side, but there's some gaping on my smaller side. The gore floats. If I deliberately move my boobs further apart into the sides of the cups, my larger side quads a bit but the gore ALMOST tacks, although it digs in slightly. I like this style - it seems to fit better than the plunge - and I'd like to find a size that fits, but I can't tell if I need a larger band, larger cup, or if the shape is just wrong for me. The band is snug but not overly tight. Should I try a different size?

helpfulBoth measurement wise and visually, this actually seems a bit small to me!
Your breast perimeter is 27.9/22.9/25.4 cm. - and the cup depth on this is just 18.5.
A size like 75F/F (or 70FF/G if you prefer a tight band) would work better IMO!I'm thinking it may be worthwhile to order directly from Comexim - with an alteration, like lowering the cups a little + moving in the straps somewhat, to avoid gaping?
Good luck!

helpfulTry scooping and swooping, then do a second scoop and swoop from the inside to outside. Then try wearing if for a while to see how it settles. Comexim uses softer wires, so you're not likely to get a true tack.
If you are still quadding you could go up a size, but then you'll have more gaping on your smaller side. I think it looks pretty decent as is. If you're doing alterations, Comexim can put cookie pockets in (or I'm sure they'd do just one side if you asked).
Based on measurements, the band seems about right, If you can breath without discomfort you're probably ok. If it's too tight for now, just try an extender.

Thank you! I did the swoop and scoop, but I'll try also scooping from inside to outside and see how I settle into it. I didn't know about the softer wires, I appreciate the info.

I agree! I put in to again and realized that the wire actually sits on breast tissue on my larger side. I’m exchanging it with Breakout for a 75F. If that works out, I’ll try ordering directly with the alterations you recommended. Thank you!
