Bra fitting help » Good style or no? Good band/cup fit or no?

Issue resolved
Just kept the bra and maybe going to look elsewhere in terms of sizing within the same brand as the brand works well with me.
Original problem
I am unsure if I should stick with this size of the sports bra, or the style of it maybe. The gore doesn't tack down nor separate the breasts, and the band is minority tight. But because I have never had a sports bra fit me before, I am unsure what to look for. It does encapsulate the breasts well, with some minor gapping. The bra seems to keep the breasts in while jumping around in it. Any help is appreciated.

helpfulwith the amount of wrinkles you get it looks way too big. But it's also a shape mismatch here.
Sportsbras in general run pretty shallow, they want to smosh the breasts close to your chest instead of projecting them forward. It's often recommended to sister size up in the band for sports bras too. You might want to try this firstly in one cup down, but sister size up in the band, so 42G. If that doesn't work maybe look at other brands.

helpfulI agree that this is too big; for a sports bra you'd ideally want some compression to support you better!
So a cup depth measurement that is closer to your laying breast perimeter.I'd definitely size down 2/x in the cup and up 1x in the band (because this large cup also adds some band length), so yes 42FF or 42G like alidieux suggested!

Actually no, because a 42GG would just be ‘sister sizing’ - which technically keeps the cups the same size. So at least 42G, maybe 42FF (:

Ok thank you. I am trying to understand sister sizing and all that jazz still lol
I think I am skeptical needing to go down in the cup because of how tight it could be as I have pretty soft tissue and have asthma
Just to clarify, wouldn't I want to size in 42GG or 42G by your suggestion? It goes from H to GG to G then to FF in the sizing of this sports bra.
