Bra fitting help » Gore wires shift sideways, what does it mean?

Issue resolved
Pushing down the wires in the gore helped a lot.
Original problem
After having tried 30F and 30FF in this style, 32FF seems to fit well enough, even though my smaller boob doesn't 100% fill out the cup. However, the gore wires are doing something weird. They don't stay centered in between my breasts but kind of shift towards either one (see photo). It gets uncomfortable after a while. My question: what does this mean? Is it a known symptom of a specific bra issue, and can it be fixed? As a newbie still figuring out my breast shape: I think I have broad roots and am at least a bit projected, but that's about all I know.

helpfulYou've got it in the fit issues. The gore is too wide for the space between your breasts--just slightly, as, to my understanding, when it's much too wide, the gore will just fully sit on breast tissue and not tack. A lower plunge might work or you'll probably be able to find bras with a narrower gore than this. I know Polish bras tend to have very narrow gores, but beyond that, I can't say I pay much attention, as I've got quite a bit of space between my boobs.

helpfulIt does look like the cup width is too wide for you too. Like the girls would fit better being a little bit more front and center. When I imagine where the center of your breast tissue is (looking at the picture of you head on) it is closer to the distal end of your clavicle rather than centered over the left or right section of your torso. The extra cup width kind of spreads your breast tissue over a wider portion of your chest. Of course, having that narrower gore already discussed will help with that positioning.
The bra is a lovely colour on you and I know that others have successfully crossed over the gore with a stitch or two if this is a bra that you would like to keep and is otherwise comfortable.

Thank you for that insight! I find it so hard to figure out my own breasts but indeed, that bra does appear to spread them out a bit. I do have some breast tissue below my arm pit though, so I've been trying to find bras that incorporate that into the cups - but perhaps then I'd need a bit more center projection than Freya Expression offers. I will also definitely consider altering the gore - I'll probably start by pushing the wires first and seeing where that gets me!

helpfulThis same thing happened to me, with this bra. I just thought the bra was defective. It was painful as soon as I put it on. Sorry, I can't help!

Thanks for your comment! I think the gore really is too wide and too high for me. I did help a lot when I pushed the wires further down in their sleeve (many manufactures leave a bit of space for that). Maybe that's something that can help you if you find a nice bra with a too wide gore :)

Aaaah, I didn't realise the gore being slightly too wide could make it do that! I thought it was maybe a cup or band issue. Thanks :)
