Bra fitting help » Experiencing quadding + tissue escape but everything else seems fine
Curvy Kate » Delightfull Full Cup Bra (1111) » 32H 32:11
I'm pretty sure this is just a matter of the cups being a size or so small. I am getting quadding and the wires are kind of pinching me as well. Other than that this has probably been my best fit so far because I constantly run into issues with:
1. The upper section being way too loose on me even when the cups are too small.
2. Never being able to actually fill out the sides regardless as to whether or not I was also getting quadding.
3. Gore not tacking despite not having visible tacking.
4. Not being able to fill the space near the wires/the apex of my right breast just trying to settle into the deepest part of the cups.I've been wearing this bra for a few hours now and haven't experienced any of the issues that normally plague me. I am constantly having to readjust my breasts into the cups because they keep escaping on the sides which leads to pinching.

helpfulGood luck with a larger cup size. 32J might do it according measurements. Fortunately it looks like this bra has a larger range for you!

When the cups are too small that breast tissue is going to ooze out where it can! Stick with the cup width that fits your shape and get a deep enough cup that breast tissue will be swooped and scooped into the bra cup away from the painful side wire. Hard to wrap the head around actual boobs and how bras are constructed.
Say no to the quad boob!

helpfulGenerally, if your breast tissue is escaping and getting pinched, it's because the band is too big and the cup is too small. Certainly, if there is quadding, and the bottom and sides are filled in, then the cup is just too small.
Have you done the backward band test? Basically, you put the bra on backwards (so, cups are at the back) and then put two fingers under the band between your breasts and see how far you can pull it out. More than an inch and the band is too big. If you can't fit two fingers under, then the band is too small.

Sorry for the slow response I just got done moving! The band is snug but it seems like there's also some shape mishap going because I started getting all sorts of weird fit issues the next size up - I wasn't quadding out of it though so the cup volume was right at least

Yeah I'm more than certain that at the very least, I do need to go up two sizes. I started off with 32H because I read various reviews stating that it either ran too small or too large. I usually run into the issue of bras tending to run big on me in the cups so just decided to go smaller. I have tried various CKs before and I feel pretty confident in saying that for me personally, they seem to run pretty TTS based on measurements alone lol. So far the best fits I've had were in romance, Portia and princess.
I did manage to adjust further and apparently had breast tissue being trapped under the wires on my sternum (ouch) lmao, once I got that in the gore was gaping a bit but not as bad as what I've gotten in other bras. Another thing I've noted is that I seem to prefer wider wires even though I've been told my roots are narrow. Sometimes it just feels like I have extra tissue on the sides that just isn't as visible, even though this is wide, im still getting breast tissue pinched by the wires.
