Issue resolved
Bra unavailable in next size up, suggestions said that it is probably an okay fit as-is.
Original problem
I know that this doesn’t quite fit all the way right. The gore doesn’t tack all the way, and it seems like the cups may not possibly be deep enough.
Do you think it’s worth sizing up for, or do you think going up one more cup will just exacerbate other problems? (My main worry with sizing up is that the actual volume of the cups will get baggy in a size 80KK.)
Another weird fit issue with this bra that I don’t think is really fixable is the elastic from the side support cuts in when I stretch my arms up. Like a lot.

helpfulThis is an entirely personal decision of course, and you could probably go either way.
But if I were you, I'd stay put in this size.Because visually, this looks like a pretty darn good fit to me!
The wires on the side, the cup height, the upper cup fabric, and the depth in #5 actually looks okay to me as well..? I would worry these would all be a smidge too wide / high / loose / deep when sizing up.Some gores just won't tack, and sometimes with close-set boobs you don't really want them to?
At least that's my 2 cents (different size range so our needs may vary, but an actively tacking gore will often hurt my sternum). The side support sling cutting in does sound annoying, do you have pictures of that?
Do you feel it benefits the bra's construction with regular positions / when you don't raise your arms?
If not, you could consider cutting it out, or make a small V-shaped cut to allow for some more movement.Updated on May 3, 2021 Flag this

I tried a KL with similar construction to this bra, down to the strappy bits on top and I think they're the same cut. It didn't tack on me either, while Brillant and Mirabella do tack for example (and both of them are different shape/cut both from each other but also from this type of cut). I think its just this bras shape that isn't great for projection

helpfulIf it's easy for you to try the other size ( free shipping?) maybe it's worth comparing the two? On the other side in my experience a slightly too large bra can make the whole construction feel unsupportive quite quickly and that unfortunate in larger sizes. I think it could be that the gore is too tall and there isn't enough center space right at the gore, so your boobs push the gore slightly away. I had this issue with many bras - if it's only like 1 cm away I experience no lack in support. It's up to you if you find it comfortable enough to wear that way. Larger size might solve the gore issue but can likely add other issues.
I think the side issue could be with fabrics used, might be they less stretchy so they cut in and another size will not solve that? Not sure though.

Fantastic comment, thank you!
Yes, you’re right, unless I’m leaning forward like in the main picture, you can’t really tell that the gore doesn’t tack. I also read recently that Kris Line bras might be meant to only softly tack? So that may be the issue. Either way, I’ve noticed that they don’t really have a lot of depth at the gore, so that could be contributing to that issue as well.
In terms of the side support, it doesn’t really necessarily seem like it has to be there, but it also isn’t problematic being there either. It’s only really noticeable when I raise my arms, but who’s really going to be seeing it with my arms raised up anyway besides me? Lol.
Edit to add: I just looked and the place I ordered it from is now sold out of 80KK, so looks like the 80K is here to stay.
