Bra fitting help » Center gore digs in, wrinkles on top
Pour Moi » Rebel Underwired Plunge Bra (84002) » 32D 32:4
1.The center gore digs in my sternum.
2.There are wrinkles on the top of the cups.A few hours after wearing the bra, the wires seem to be getting tighter. Especially, the top of the center gore. It feels too tight.
The bottom of the cups seem to fit well without wrinkles.
The top of the cups are wrinkled, but the edges don't gape.
Are the cups big or is the shape wrong? Or is there another problem?
I'm not sure, but I think I have shallow, even and tall roots breasts.Thanks.

helpfulVisually, it looks like a good fit. What I remember from the Por Moi that I had was that the wires were stiff. With a different bra with stiff wires, I replaced the offending wire with a similar length wire from an old bra and made the bra comfortable again. This repairs involves a small snip and a few stitches. Easy beginner level.
ANother area of concern that I have been found to be true for my body, is that if a band is too loose ,it can cause the wires to irritate my sternum or ribs. Just going by the measurements, this band is a bit too long for you though it may be overstretched when you measure it. I will have to disagree with the previous contribution that a larger band would be something to try. Your measurements lean toward a 30 inch band in a large lettered cup. THe dreaded sub-32 inch band in an E cup!
Another structural thing with this bra is that the wire is very low at the sternum, you might just not like this style though I would try the other two approaches first as this is a style that suits you well. Of course there are others too!
Good luck with your search!

This bra isn’t the right shape for you. The gore is too wide. You can try the curvy Kate lifestyle plunge or freya hero plunge bras in 30dd/28e for a better fit or panache Ana plunge bra. Good luck in the bra journey. I am a 32h/hh uk or 30hh/j uk. I wear elomi Morgan and fantasie side support bras.

I thought a good stretchy band and low wires are comfortable for my sternum, but they weren't...! I learned a new fact.
I should look for other brands of bras and try on different sizes. I'm not confident in sewing, but I'll find out how to repair it.
Thank you very much!
