Bra fitting help » Wireless bra fits my wide root, but straps and boning dig in.

Issue resolved
Returned bra. Trying http://bra.pe/X4s6/
Original problem
After scoop and swoop, I tightened straps to get more support, but then the back feels like it's riding up. Wide straps dig into my flesh where they meet the cup. Side boning digs into my ribs at the bottom and fits too close to my armpit at the top.

helpfulOh no! the problem with wireless bras is that the weight of your breasts will be forced on to your bra straps and shoulders, when the underwire is taken out. I'm guessing this is why you have trouble with the straps digging in.
Are you dead set on having a wireless bra, as I find properly fitting wired bras to be fine - as far as comfort level.

maria88 , Hi! It doesn't surprise me about Panache's gore digging in painfully. Unfortunatly, I have learned (from bratabase, thank you!) that Panache bras have hard wires and also tack hard.
because of that - they also have *kind of wide gores* - they don't work for me.
I prefer Polish brands (Comexim, Ewa Michalak) which have softer wires. So much more comfy : ) : ) : )

If the gore digs in painfully, I wonder if Panache is really the brand for you?? Panache Envy is a good "diagnostic bra" though - as far as bra size.
If you wanted to try Ewa Michalak (Polish brand) BM (unpadded balconette) I would try it in whatever was your best fitting Panache Envy size.

BraOdyssey , That's very helpful information about the Polish brands and how they compare to 38H - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) ! Thank you!
Thank you for your prompt suggestion, BraOdyssey. I have never worn a wired bra before. At age 54, I'm willing to try and have tried on several different styles in different sizes. The closest to fitting are @Elomi Cate (@4030) in 38:11 (which I have just added for a fit recommendation http://bra.pe/X4s3/) and @Elomi Amelia (@8740) in 38:10. Both are somewhat comfortable wires, but too voluminous at the top of the cup. I also tried panache Envy Balconette (@7285) in 38:10, but the gore digs painfully.
