Issue resolved
Returned the bra.
Original problem
Bra fits and is comfortable in most places. But the edges of the wide strap are irritating my skin where it is very tight across my tail of spence.

helpfulthe strap placement is too wide for your shoulders : (
I'm surprised you like molded bras. I know they are reallllly popular.
but the fit is better usually on people who have more shallow breasts, which is usually under D cup, in the smaller band sizes.
Cut and sew bras (seamed bras) work better for projected breasts.
maybe you could alter it, but I'm thinking that could ruin the whole bra? Idk.
I would send it back and look for another bra that fits your shoulders better.

maria88 , hmm, yes that Elomi Cate is very pointy. I can see how you wouldn't prefer that.
Elomi has the very widest wires https://braodyssey.blogspot.com/2021/05/wire-lengths-from-very-narrow-to-very.html in this size range. (I'm not sure where I stole this graphic from)Because you haven't been wearing wired bras, I'm thinking that's why you like the wider wires.
It is a bit controversial, but this post talks about breast tissue migration. As in - women who haven't been wearing the proper sized bra will have breast tissue moved. It's controversial, but this blogger says the tissue will "move back" http://butterflycollectionlingerie.blogspot.com/2012/10/do-you-have-breast-migration.html
I've also read on reddit that bra boutique owners will fit women in narrower bras after a few months, once they wear the correct sized bra. (I don't know if that makes sense).

maria88 , do you think front-closure bras would be more comfy? https://www.brabbly.com/front-closure-bras-for-plus-size/ I've never tried them personally.
BraOdyssey, Thank you for the feedback! I like the smooth look of the molded bra under a t-shirt. Maybe I could cut the trim off of the straps.
I tried @Elomi Cate (@4030) http://bra.pe/X4s9/, but it has a weird cut that makes my breast pointy closer to the sternum.
