Bra fitting help » Don’t know about this cup size. I spill out of the side and bottom but looks big
Victoria's Secret » Pink Wear Everywhere Lightly Lined Bra (337-694) » 34DD 34:5
Issue resolved
Even though I was planning on buying a new bra, I’ve decided to wait. I’ve decided I’d like to lose weight and get in shape so I don’t want to invest in a bra that potentially won’t fit properly after I’ve lost some weight. I’ll buy a new bra once I’ve reached my goals.
Original problem
I’m not sure if this bra is too small or too big. It squishes my tissue out slightly on the sides. I don’t spill out of the top but I constantly have to “pull up” my boobs as they’ll sink to the bottom. There is a problem with the bottom of the bra as the underwire doesn’t fit snugly against my sternum but that seems to be a problem with all my bras as I spill out from underneath. The straps constantly slip from my shoulders and I can’t get a comfortable fit on them. The band is more comfortable enough to me and is the only thing I don’t mind about this bra.

helpfulIt looks loose overall to me. The wires aren’t supporting you because they’re not sitting in your IMF, and they’re probably falling out the bottom because the band isn’t tight enough. I know you say the band feels good, but a too loose band can actually feel tight when your tissue is being forced out of the cups.
Can you tighten the band or straps at all? How does it fit if you do that and then swoop and scoop?
Based on your breast perimeter measurements vs this bra’s depth, I’m guessing the cups will be clearly too small for you if you’re able to tighten the straps and band any more. I’d be looking roughly around the 34:8 (34FF UK) range to get the cup depth you’ll need.

helpfulI would definitely say this band is too big, and simultaneously the cups are likely too small as well. Since your comfortable rib measurement is 33 and the stretched band on this bra is 35.3, I can see why it would be gapping away from your ribs and not supporting you comfortably. Victoria’s Secret bras tend to run stretchy so if this is a new bra that hasn’t yet had time to stretch out I’d suggest maybe it runs big and it could be worth trying a 32 band in the same model, whereas if this is an older bra that’s had time to loosen up it might need to be put on a tighter hook now that the elastic is looser.
The way the bra is cutting in on the sides suggests that once the band is fitting correctly, the cups will probably be more noticeably too-small. Since this bra is approaching the edge of Victoria’s Secret’s size matrix another brand might work better, but if you want to stick with this brand and model you could try the DDD which they also sometimes label as a G. That still might turn out to be too small, but trying it is an option.

This is an older bra. I’ve had it for a few years but I just joined this sight a few days ago. According to the site, this bra is one cup size too small. I’m going to Victoria’s Secret in a few days and I’ll probably size up. Thanks!

According to the measurements given to me by the site, this bra is one cup size too small for me. I can adjust the straps but they always loosen anyways. I usually fasten the band on the middle hook so I still have one more set to hook into. I recently got some coupons for Victoria’s Secret so I’ll probably just buy a new bra with your suggestions. Thanks!
