Bra fitting help » Gorsenia 100G top of cups wrinkling
Gorsenia » Porto (K584) » 100G 44:7
The top of the cups wrinkle and push away from my body. The wrinkling starts just above the most projected part of my breasts. The wire won't stay in my IMF (never found a bra that would). The gore tacks (never had a problem with that in any bra I've tried since trying to find bras that fit properly so I don't think that means much for my body lol.
ABTF calculator gives me a 44G/GG but given that Gorsenia runs deep (all websites say to order a cup size down) and the ABTF calculator tends to overestimate cup sizes for larger bodies, I went with the 100G (44F). I'm not sure if this bra is too small, too big, the wrong shape or some combination of those things.
FWIW I have other bras in this brand and size on my profile if you want to look at more pictures to help determine what the problem is.

helpfulI would try a cup down (if it's an easy exchange) as I've read that some Gorsenia's can actually run 2 cups too big.
They're known for being good for projection and having deep cups.
If that doesn't work, I would say it's a mismatch shape -wise.but it's also my understanding that they have a couple different cuts, so...
If this bra doesn't work, it's possible another one will? I'm not sure that I would write off the brand entirely! (Plus, there's other Polish brands you could try)
That's my 2 cents, but I'm also not an expert with Gorsenia!!!!Updated on November 28, 2021 Flag this

Thanks BraOdyssey! I ordered from BraStop so it *should* be relatively easy to exchange, just gotta pay for return shipping. I've been thinking about trying Gorsenia Amaro (K659) because it has a separate inner strap that you can adjust and it seems like an ideal solution to the upper cup gapping issue that I have with every bra I've ever tried. It's way harder to find though. I found it on Amazon but Amazon sellers are all over the place in their size conversions.

I don't know much about Gorsenia either, but I'd just be cautious about the wire width if you do decide to try a cup size down. The wires look pretty close to perfect as is to me. If you do try the size down and find that the wires are too narrow I'd say in general to stray away from Polish bras.

violetriot , the more that I look at it...the more I'm like...hmm, I don't think this particular bra is going to be a good fit on you.
just b/c your apex (like the center, aka nipple placement) is not as well aligned for this cup shape. -
Thanks BraOdyssey! Do you have any suggestions of bras to try? I've tried quite a few Elomi bras and thought they didn't have enough depth at the wire which is why I tried Gorsenia.
I do have some Elomi bras on the way from Amazon Wardrobe in 44F so that I can try them again in a different size. I'll make sure to measure them and write down detailed reasons why they don't fit. I've tried on so many and I can't remember everything :(

Thank you bustyand. I'll definitely keep that info in mind. I've tried 2 Gorsenia bras in 100E (ordered by mistake bc I didn't realize the conversions on Amazon were in US sizing) and I don't think they felt all that narrow but I could be misremembering. I've tried on at least a dozen bras since then lol.

helpfulIt looks like this is not the best brand for you, Gorsenia has narrow and deeper cups and your shape seems to be wider. The wires don't seem to collect all the tissue on the sides.
This looks a case of Orange in a Glass where the cup is too narrow that makes it look like a depth problem.

Jj Hmm, I haven't had much luck with wider wire bras either. I've tried nearly every Elomi bra that Amazon Wardrobe has and none of them fit right.
Also the orange in a glass page says "Otherwise your wires will sit on your breast tissue, so the bra doesn't start at the correct position and can therefore not enclose your breast like it's meant to." My issue is always that the wires scoot DOWN away from my breast tissue, I have never had a problem with wires sitting on my breast tissue unless I'm wearing a bra that is clearly too small (like a 44D or something). Can the orange in a glass present as wires scooting down?

It's a pretty bra though, I like the red.
