Bra fitting help » extra room on top
Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) » 32D 32:4
So this bra has a bit of extra room on the top, and also wrinkles a bit on the sides. I also have a Panache Ana in 32DD with the same problem, not any worse (although I fixed it with my sewing machine). Should I go down another cup size? Or is this just an issue with Panache having the wrong shape for me (boobs are not full on top)?

helpfulThis seems to be too projected for you. While the wires appear to be the right width, there’s a lot of extra space in the cup that definitely shouldn’t be there. Have you tried anything other than Panache? Wacoal’s b.tempt’d line or a Freya Offbeat Side Support might be worth considering.

helpfulI'd recommend lower cups. Half cups Demi's balconette. With your size I also recommend trying a more shallow bra. Something like offbeat and Clara would be worth a try. You probably need a bra that's about 5 inches tall. Another good bra would be polish since you seem to have narrow roots. I do believe nessa and comexim could work. If you live in the US, savannah at break out bras is a great help as is levana boutique. (Even with polish bras, the smaller bra sizes aren't as projected as larger so with narrow roots and shallow breasts polish bras would work for you)

My roots are only 2 inches long so I understand that! My breasts are a total of 14.5 from root to root as well so I understand your issue all too well
Is it possible you're "omega"?

The girl here is omega
http://bra.pe/XYlz/It's where your roots are smaller than the rest of your breast.

Try this in a 30 D and DD and 32C and D. Wacoal tends to run loose so I say 30D. I could be wrong though as I just started learning in January.
https://www.wacoal-america.com/bras/btemptd-by-wacoal-bras/ciao-bella-balconette-bra-953144And here is the link here 30D

And Cleo may be a better option than just panache. https://www.panache-lingerie.com/shop/lingerie/brands/cleo
In 32C, D, 30C, D. Try different sizes for the same bra.
For a lot of brands there's a "little sister" brand like panache has Cleo wacoal has B tempted, your best bet until you figure out your exact needs would be looking at the little sis line. If you can, I do recommend going to be fitted at a brick and mortar shop.
Last edit - and look at bratabase for bras with shorter cups. Some brands will have different balconettes and some will be a whole inch taller than others while others will be a lot shorter. Try going for the shorter one. Bratabase measurements isn't exact science since it's a lot of folks learning about bras and haven't figured measuring out to the T yet so measurements are just a starting place. It can be off by half an inch to a whole inch. Most of the time it's just a few cm but sometimes it's off a lot so you'll need to look at pictures and compare the bras on the same person. Find a boob twin that looks like you and has your measurements. See what worked for her and try those as well.
Thank you for the advice. I had a Freya offbeat, and it did not fit right at all. I don't know if it was too big or small, but it seemed to be the wrong shape all together. It smooshed my chest flat, and wrinkled at the same time.I wish I had gotten a picture of it. I haven't heard of any of these other brands, but I will check them out. I have one bra that fits quite well, and that is the natori cherry blossom convertible in 32D. But I do like the balcony style.
